Re: Trans recall

My 2015 went in to limp mode 2 weeks ago (under 20k miles). No forewarning, shuddering or any other symptom. Also, no recall notice received.

Ended up being a bad solenoid pack (internal). Still under warranty.

This hadn't better be a constant repair every 20k...

Re: DiabloSport Tuner with Intune I2 and new ECU

Took the Beast for a ride to Utah last month. Filled the tank with 87 octane and kept the "aggressive" tune loaded. Ended the first half of the trip at 15.9. Changed tune to "MPG extender" made sure to fill with 87 octane for the return trip. Overall, 15.5 mpg Then "MPG extender" really didn't bump ...

Re: DiabloSport Tuner with Intune I2 and new ECU

Took a quick trip to the greater Denver area yesterday. Traveled around 130 miles. Highway MPG checked in at 12.9 with the "aggressive" 87 tune from Hemifever. That is just over .5 mpg improvement from any non-tuned run I have had since the larger tires were installed. * EDIT - just finished the tan...

Re: DiabloSport Tuner with Intune I2 and new ECU

Yes. It is a one stop deal. Hemifevertuning.com No adjustments for TMPS, no fog lights. The new ECU module will be pre-flashed with your VIN and mileage. I don't know what else it includes. Per the instructions, you do not turn on the vehicle until the diablo tuner is installed on the ECU. I don't k...

Re: Building my "Beast" - Tuner update

Ok, I have had this tune installed now for almost two weeks. I have not yet had the opportunity to take my truck out on an extended road trip to test out the MPG Booster. That will come later this year (perhaps in July because of my work schedule). I will try to convey the proper information in a cl...

Re: Power Wagon Specific Aftermarket Bumpers

Almost have enough milk money saved up.
I need a few more road trips to make this happen.

One question (for everyone here) "What's the market like for used bumpers?"

Re: Building my "Beast"

Took it to an authorized WARN repair shop. The winch is mounted correctly. However, there is a cable coming from the truck that needs to be plugged in to the winch (thermometric switch?) and the winch does not have a place for this wire to be connected. Additionally, I had another wire come loose fr...

Or you could do what I did. The pipes do not sit any lower than the hitch.

Re: Building my "Beast"

That's upside down. The gear box should be on the driver's side and the drum pulling from the top. ??? The gentleman I purchased the winch from said when previously mounted, it was re-spooled to wind the opposite direction. If I flip it, the power cables to the battery will not reach the terminals....

Winch is on, but still need to re-route the electrical. The power module would not fit when mounting this in the correct position. But at least the hard work is done!

I dunno why, but the gloss black Decal against all that matte black ruins the white truck IMO.
Not as much as that grill ruins the truck

Re: More Questions...missing parts

From what I have found, it is a PW.

However, you will need to pay about $10 to get a detailed report showing what has actually happened to it.
It may have been to auction twice and even an accident of some sort.

Searching for a winch - FOUND

This is a long shot, but never hurts to try! I am looking for a factory winch to put on my '15 PW. It was removed from the truck, like a bunch of other PW needs, before I bought it last summer. I am still researching if aftermarket (or older factory models) will fit in the mount that is still on the...
