Re: Thuren 3.0 KING on 2018 Powerwagon!

You'll be able to 'explore' a lot with those dampers including tearing up anything on roads made for common vehicles. I'm on full thuren springs, boogies, trackbars f/r, and king stage 5 front/4 rear. After 10k miles they are starting to break in and getting very, very smooth..

Re: Nitrogen in tires???

I've been looking at the low pressure lights so long now I'm used to it. Temp changes affect pressure 10-15lbs.

I run my 35's at 30r/35f psi and they're wearing perfectly. I'll probably get 50k miles out of these cooper stt pros.

Re: Kill-switch for electronic nannies

You have to plant that 700hp on a good track to make those numbers which requires suspension modifications and ideal weight transfer. 9 second camaros and mustangs aren't the norm for most folks, just the ones promoting their businesses and making youtube videos.

Re: Thuren 1/2” Front Coil Springs For $250 (roughly 5k miles)

I can try to answer the last two questions because I ran them with stock bilsteins for awhile. IMO, they're best option for a slight lift, improved ride and they work just fine with the stock shocks. If you go with the 1.5'' lift thuren springs I would recommend aftermarket shocks. I swapped back an...

This is scary...the 'crimp-fit' tierod end came apart. You say you checked all the steering components so just fyi. The first thing they noticed was a front end clunk. (did they upgrade the steering components in '14 or '13 with the redesign?) http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/2013-general-discussio...

Re: Blown Bilsteins

I see vehicles every day pogo-ing and floating down the road and think..why don't you just replace your shocks??? It's fairly cheap (depending) and probably the most important component for ride quality, not to mention SAFETY. Your stock shocks are worn at 50k. I've made it a habit to replace shocks...

Re: Rearview Mirror glue

If I recall...it's been a few years lol there's an 'activator' or hardener along with the adhesive. If you just use the adhesive it's worthless. It's a two-part epoxy adhesive for glass to metal.

Re: exhaust

I had the EXACT same problem since I once removed my resonator then had it re-welded further towards the bumper for looks/clearance. Removing the upper trackbar bolt is impossible if you readjust the resonator. It hangs down so low like that in the stock location for clearance. I took a ratchet stra...

Re: Why are there so many newer PWs being traded in so early

I've ridden in a 15' RAM Cummins outfitted with full (springs, f/r trackbars, front torsion swaybar, f/r boogie stops) thuren suspension and King 2.0's. It was all over the front bump stops offroad as was his suspension stock. He just sold it and purchased a new F250 powerstroke and plans to go full...

Re: Coil bucket/shock mounts mod

You can really break shit with properly valved 2.5's. Why would you need more? Now a cantilever setup, that's quite different as you're adding travel but write a blank check.

I know I can break my truck with the current 2.5 stage 5's. I haven't attempted it yet but it's really tempting.

Re: more exhaust talk

Kinneys would charge you $500+ for those 'true duals' you don't need. I'd just install a magnaflow single in/out choosing a length for the sound that pleases you. I would recommend finding a reputable local shop and going with a longer length than the mufflex (since you've already cut the resonator ...

Re: Pennzoil Ultra Platinum rebate (for guys with the 6.4l)

I've run three vehicles to over 200k miles on amsoil signature series 0w-30 and now 0w40. That's with 10-15k mile oil change and mobil 1 filters. 56k miles on the '16 PW, no problems and I don't expect any unless there was a factory defect. I'm probably past that period. I expect 200k out of the hem...

Re: Power Wagon Does not Make It

Mr. Powerwagon, Nathan was a bit humbled and not too happy about that. That line and loose rock was better suited to the lighter trucks. He could have applied power and made it up by destroying the trail. Larger (MT) tires would have also helped. And the PW will do this over, and over, and over agai...

If so, you're probably the first person to rid yourself of the rear resonator and have a good sounding, zero drone exhaust system for a 6.4l hemi Ram 2500.
