seems like I tried this before (update via usb) and it wouldn't update because Uconnect was already on that version... but you can try it.

Check out the Mantis by TAXA Outdoors. Those and the black series were the most capable looking I saw at the off grid expo a few weeks ago.

Re: PWJouster's Build - 2018 Power Wagon "TrailWhale"
I installed the bypass after the trans rebuild. Not sure it would have helped in pwjouster case. Sounds like a snap ring or something metal came apart in there. Not that overheating could have influenced it.

PWJouster's Build - 2018 Power Wagon "TrailWhale"
I had the recall done, the service manager said it looked bad internally but they went ahead and did the recall then returned the truck to me. A month later I lost reverse gear. I took it to Austex transmission who I HIGHLY recommend. They used my extended warranty to cover $3500 of the rebuild bill...

Re: PWJouster's Build - 2018 Power Wagon "TrailWhale"
Well I can’t dispute the YJ choice. I’d love to have one! My trans failed at 92k miles about two months after I had the solenoid recall done. When they did the solenoid recall my service manager called and said it looked like ‘the transmission was coming apart internally’ so I had it rebuilt..NOT by...

Not trying to turn your build thread into a trans debate/discussion but just wondering...did you have the solenoid recall done?

Re: 2018 Power Wagon Brake Issues
I have a 2016. The rears were 3/8-24x1'' but like I said the fronts didn't work. I'd recommend calling Russell products or Dorman. I plan to since I'm hearing multiple size suggestions from forums.

Re: 2018 Power Wagon Brake Issues
I swapped the fluid and did the rear speed bleeders this weekend (rear only, fronts were the incorrect size). I used a turkey baster to fully evacuate the reservoir, refilled and bled the rears. Then I evacuated and refilled the reservoir again to replenish as much as possible with fresh fluid. What...

Re: 2018 Power Wagon Brake Issues
Since my last reply to this thread I've relocated to higher altitude in Colorado. Since the move, I'm experiencing some of the similar braking issues everyone else is complaining about on this thread. I bought some dorman speed bleeders and Motul RBF 660 fluid this week and plan to flush the system ...

Split Personality Tailgate
Ok I see...had to go watch the video. It swings down as well. I don’t know, seems like a solution that doesn’t have a problem.

Upgrading to 35’s
Set them to 45 front/40 rear depending on your shocks. Good starting point then adjust up or down for comfort level.
Offroad down to 20psi depending on terrain (rock/sand/mud).
Rotate them often, like every 3k miles often.

What PSI for Thuren/King Steering Damper?
Mine needs an adapter of some sort. Thuren said they would provide the adapter eventually. It's like a King 2.0.

RAM should own up and correct their trans and lifter issues. https://www.ramforum.com/threads/cracke ... fe.139345/
My factory thermostat also failed around the same time.

Re: Fault Code P0750 'Shift Solenoid A'
I definitely ignored the recall. I won't ignore another recall for drivetrain. I think the major damage was caused by the faulty solenoid and factory trans programming. I should have taken it in as soon as the recall was issued. However...Chrysler defines 'lifespan' as 100k miles. The billet VB is t...
