Re: 37x12.5 on AEV Saltas – metal trimming or liner only (2018)?

Oh crazy, subforums... I though the AEV's were +18. I'm looking at CJC's custom (cheap) raceline for dodge which are +20 for 37's.

Re: 2015 6.4 Hemi EGR Issues?

I don’t notice any difference between 89 and 91/93 but a big difference in 87 and 89. I have surging and just poor drivability with 87 so I get the gas card that helps to alleviate the price difference and put 89 in the truck. I also keep MDS disabled by driving in 5th gear all the time even on the ...

Re: '14 Power Wagon needs new motor at 63k... :/

I agree, the cost of these new trucks is excessive. I think they've made strides in durability, build, and technology so you have to pay more (I wish they would focus on durability and not tech). You'd expect them to stock a mini-truck diesel? Those are still niche vehicles that haven't made it to m...

Re: 2015 6.4 Hemi EGR Issues?

The fuel I put in my truck has a large effect on how it runs. 87 octane causes surging and shifting issues. 89 runs great so that's what I put in it.

Re: '14 Power Wagon needs new motor at 63k... :/

I'd like to know how this turns out. I would agree that in these cases it's probably smart to research the best reviewed and rated dealer.

I've heard it can take a month for this 'engineer' to make his case so get ready to sit back and wait a while.

They'll try to tell you 'this is a special vehicle' and all the BS sales crap. Fact is, these truck are hard to sell and you have a lot of bargaining room. Just get used to 12mpg.

Re: Finally got new tires for the 16.

I hear the P3's are a totally different tire than the older ATZ's. I had them on my shortlist when I purchased new tires. I hear that Cooper makes the Mickey's now.

It's good to hear a positive review on them.

Re: 37x12.5 on AEV Saltas – metal trimming or liner only (2018)?

I purchased a used cooper mtp 315/70-17 for $100 on eBay and it fit in the spare location fully inflated with a little wiggling. I wasn’t going to purchase a brand new tire as a spare.

Re: 2016 PW Stock Wheels W/Lug Nuts and Tradesman Grill

I want the grille, its the black grille correct? I just installed the 2017+ style wagon black bumpers and need a black grille. I've been warranting the cost of a 2017+ grille ($800) but can't bring myself to buy one yet.

Re: Rear Shock Question

With the Thuren front spring only. It's the correct length stock, as is the front track bar. You don't need the entire kit. Thuren rear springs and swar bar links, and Kings should be going on tomorrow or Tuesday. This is true. I ran Thuren springs and stock Bilsteins for some time..maybe 5k miles....

Make sure the front Boogies are shoved as far away from the brake lines as possible, they sit CLOSE
I pushed my stage 5 kings last weekend and thr boogies never had an issue. I mounted the fronts as far rearward as possible.

True dat. I've owned four vehicles with stock spec'd ranchos and they were all done within 40k miles. My bilsteins were just starting to fade when I swapped them at 50k.

If Colibri wants to use my truck as a project truck I'll let him tear it limb from limb to hardwire my lockers. At this point f-the warranty. If it works he can take PWJousters final offer money, do his, and everybody will be happy
