Split Personality Tailgate

I’d much rather this if I wanted to compromise... doors swing all the way open.

Split Personality Tailgate

Ok I see...had to go watch the video. It swings down as well. I don’t know, seems like a solution that doesn’t have a problem.

It may be good for someone who needs to step up into the bed often or maybe someone with a disability.

What a stupid design. Is this for real? How would load anything into that?

I’m about to buy the OBD mx Bluetooth and alpha obd. This is the first thing I’ve seen that I’d spend my money on. Thanks for posting this info!

Re: Does the Sway Bar Disconnect ever work?

mine worked fine...albeit, if 4low and under 18MPH is fine for you... On demand switch and air release is something i use EVERY DAY. i disconnect once i get on the highway, 90MPH and 10 miles later i re egnage just before the exit turn ramp so i dont have to slow down. Over 65MPH without a front sw...

Upgrading to 35’s

Set them to 45 front/40 rear depending on your shocks. Good starting point then adjust up or down for comfort level.

Offroad down to 20psi depending on terrain (rock/sand/mud).

Rotate them often, like every 3k miles often.

What PSI for Thuren/King Steering Damper?

Mine needs an adapter of some sort. Thuren said they would provide the adapter eventually. It's like a King 2.0.

If you enlarge the pic it's a DNJ. Maybe they modified it?

The VB doesn't require a teardown. I'd recommend upgrading that asap.

Re: Fault Code P0750 'Shift Solenoid A'

RAM should own up and correct their trans and lifter issues. https://www.ramforum.com/threads/cracke ... fe.139345/

My factory thermostat also failed around the same time.

Re: Fault Code P0750 'Shift Solenoid A'

I definitely ignored the recall. I won't ignore another recall for drivetrain. I think the major damage was caused by the faulty solenoid and factory trans programming. I should have taken it in as soon as the recall was issued. However...Chrysler defines 'lifespan' as 100k miles. The billet VB is t...

Re: Fault Code P0750 'Shift Solenoid A'

I agree. It's obviously why they went to ZF for the 8 speed. However....I would rather have a built 66/68/65 than a ZF. It's cheaper to rebuild and maintain IMO. A lot of aftermarket support now and can be built bulletproof. The instructors at the training center say that Chrysler defines "life" as ...

Re: Fault Code P0750 'Shift Solenoid A'

With mine, whether it was the replacement solenoids or the PCM update/flash it shifted much better than the factory setup, that is before it failed. I really blame RAMs factory tuning or the solenoid issues for my stock transmissions failure.

Re: Fault Code P0750 'Shift Solenoid A'

I'd like to see those pictures of the filter. For some reason I can't see them. I lost the transmission in my 2016 at 92k miles. It went into limp mode (shift solenoid A code), took it to the dealer to have the solenoid recall done and it was full of clutch material like yours. The service manager t...

Trans cooler bypass valve delete?

Yeah my draglink nuts loosened a few times but I put a stop to that. Haven’t had an issue with them in 50k miles now. I won’t allow them to weld the nuts either. I’ll buy a synergy draglink. Some other info lace we’re on the trans topic...RFE transmissions have a weak stock valve body. My 4th gear c...

Trans cooler bypass valve delete?

Sounds about right, however the draglink falling apart and killing an entire family may be priority over their poor transmission programming causing failed transmissions or whatever other issues are reported such as a high rate of thermostat failures. I had the solenoid recall done along with PCM up...

Re: Trans cooler bypass valve delete?

Well, the ad for the delete says they fail ‘in every case’. I’ll take my chances with the delete. My transmission builder said he was fine with it and it won’t affect his 100k warranty. He was investigating how to modify the stock one to convert it to a bypass when I located this one. Sent from my i...

Trans cooler bypass valve delete?

Yes I installed one and am happy with it. We realized mine was stuck only after the transmission was fully rebuilt. It may have been the root cause of my transmission failure. I was pushing 100k miles and the rebuilt one has a 100k mile warranty so I’m comfortable with it. It seems like a failure pr...

I can four wheel skid/lock pretty easily now with the best pads and rotors vatozone sells.

It often surprises the hell out of me. I went from hating the brakes on this truck to feeling they’re more than sufficient.

I am still on toyo MT 35’s so...

Maybe Don should advertise upgraded lower shock mounts with 4gen 3.0 sales.
