Re: Yellowranger1's Blue Wagon

*I'll add pictures to this post later today* Few updates, I think I solved the small wobble/feedback I was getting through the steering wheel. I installed the Thuren front track bar, no real improvement with that shake, although the truck does feel a bit more solid over bumps. I also installed a Thu...

Re: exhaust

So I was forced to cut off the dingleberry resonator Friday night... Truth be told, I was waiting for an excuse to justify taking a sawzall to it, and I got that excuse when I went to remove the factory track bar bolt. Well, I should have been able to loosen the clamp, and rotate it down which would...

Re: Thuren front Track Bar on 2014+

I put the Thuren front track bar on mine maybe 1k mi ago. Feels good, not much of a difference but it does feel a little more solid over freeway bumps or uneven pavement, Still have the rear waiting to go on after the wind and fires die down here... Really looking forward to seeing how it helps the ...

Re: Idle Up Feature for winching

Found this PDF on RamTrucks.com. The last line on the PDF has direct application to this thread and is sad if true. "The idle up function is not available and cannot be added to any other than the vehicles listed above. It is not available on Pickup trucks." So can anyone that owns a newer he...

NICE! Looking forward to hearing how you like them. Saw them in person at the Off Road Expo and they look like a solid option. kind of looks like they combined the Toyo MT and Falken MT

Re: Yellowranger1's Blue Wagon

Haven't tried an alignment yet. Aside from that symptom, there aren't any other noticeable signs of alignment being out off like wandering or pulling side to side. It's definitely worth a shot though, might be something barely out of whack. Thanks for the suggestion!

Re: Yellowranger1's Blue Wagon

Not a whole lot going on with the Blue Whale lately, been busy with work and friends weddings, etc. so no dirt under the tires... Couple small updates coming for the truck though! I've been spending some time driving my gfs Forester or my parents Cherokee to weddings, etc. Both of those have factory...

Re: Diff guards

Awesome! I think a skid like that would be well worth the minimal ground clearance loss. Here's an old picture, but I'm working on removing the rear diff cover lol

Re: Diff guards

Maybe a couple of drops from mine. I wish there were a better solution for the rear diff. Personally im not crazy about the tubing style of the purple cranium. I'd love something similar to the Carli or maybe something like this? I've never run anything like this so no personal experience with how t...

Re: Diff guards

The logo on the Carli guard is just a decal. Came off clean and easy, I peeled it off soon as I opened mine up. Cheap insurance, Carli and Purple Cranium are both very stout. I went with Carli because i like the plate construction and the skid that runs under the housing. https://uploads.tapatalk-cd...

Sorry, what kit are you talking about here? Got a link to it? Sounds like it disables or cuts down the nannies off road in 2wd?

Diff fluid change? Rookie help.

Might have missed it in skimming the posts, does it not matter if the gear oil says w/ or w/o LSD? I'm ordering mine today, just want to make sure I get the right stuff. Never had a truck with fancy electronic gizmos in the diffs, just Detroits and spools, all of which I've ran super heavy SWEPCO 20...

Yellowranger1's Blue Wagon

Thanks for all the responses guys. Tomorrow is 1 full year of ownership, I have the day off so I'll pull the tent and rack off, and get my power tank bracket mounted so I'm not drilling holes after the fact. Going to call and see if I can drop the truck at line x Thursday or Friday, I'm going to hav...

Toyo RTs vs MTs in snow/ice

Can't even get them shipped to CA (for our own safety obviously) I found one place a while back that carried them and when I called they confirmed they couldn't get any new ones shipped here. I picked up 4 used OD green 20L scepters from a guy of expo portal though. I just need to spend some time on...

Re: Yellowranger1's Blue Wagon

Question for those of you who have had the bed sprayed with a liner - are you leaving the plastic caps on the top of the bed rail in place, or spraying the top bed rail? I'm assuming there's some holes for clips along the top, never bothered looking underneath to see if it's a couple or a bunch. Rea...

Sounds like the .5" coils would be right for me... if you decide to get rid of yours later, I'll put em to good use!
