Re: Off and On Road Lights
Snapped a few, and a closer view of the bar. These pics don't really do the awesome throw of this little light with the Hyperspot any justice. Looks almost the same in the pics. You can definitely see the difference in the spill off to the sides though. In order: off, low beams, high beams, high w/ ...

Re: Pennzoil Ultra Platinum rebate (for guys with the 6.4l)
Is there really that many people with obnoxious lifter noise?? Luckily that hasn't crossed my radar yet, no issues with Mopar or the Pennzoil that's been in since the original post. And hats off to Scoutpapa....as much I love an IH V8 (pretty much the diesel of the gas engine world), I didn't know y...

Re: Pennzoil Ultra Platinum rebate (for guys with the 6.4l)
The SRT filter which is a pretty damn good filter is only 12 bucks on Amazon as well. I got a M1 from my lps. If you're spending $14 for that 7th single quart, when it's half that price in the case, then yes, you've just negated the entire savings lol. Nothing wrong with the Pennzoil Ultra, it's a t...

Pennzoil Ultra Platinum rebate (for guys with the 6.4l)
Stumbled on this on Amazon. $2 off per quart takes a bit of the sting off since this one of only two oils that meets the spec for our engine. $48 limit per person/address (4 cases). Valid until the end of the year. Figured I'd pass it on. https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/G/01/00/01/20/...

Re: Guys who've added light pods in rear bumper with ParkSense
Looks clean. Seems like my harness was just made a little tighter or something. Hopefully I can get enough slack by splitting the loom, if not more drastic measures may in order lol

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
 How you liking the maxxis tires? And its time for you to get started on a build thread before you get too far! I love them so far, fairly sticky, even without airing down I'm not sliding around as much as I was on the Duratrac's (could also be the added width). Not noisy at all, even with ...

Definitely. I don't even mind that, but these lights don't draw shit...can we not get a 30 minute time out or something instead of 2?!?!

Re: Guys who've added light pods in rear bumper with ParkSense
That's definitely a secondary reason for wanting them, tailgaters and people with high beams behind me (though in the full-size it doesn't really blind you so bad). Might just be a factory fluke, or maybe the harness is just shorter in the newer rigs, idk, but my wires have zero slack, running cente...

Back on topic....a few pics of my '17 to add to the mix Day I got it home: https://i.imgur.com/ndhvRxn.jpg Three days later, sliders already installed. Absolutely some of thickest clay mud I've ever encountered. Dried into concrete. Tried to keep the left side tires out of it and it sucked me right ...

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
My '03 had full Ohlins suspension, The front forks got the Brembo radial brake calipers. Sato resets, clip-ons, and Banzai's. Thorsten radiators and air box. Had it tuned by JC Hord in Ohio. Would like to find a '04 Nicky Edition with the polished frame. The Ohlins front forks that was on the RC51 ...

Guys who've added light pods in rear bumper with ParkSense
How did you do it? Did you have cut/extend the ParkSense wiring?? I want to do this on my truck ('17), hell I've already ran the wire when I did my OBA setup. The wiring for the sensors is almost guitar string tight, no play/slack between them what so ever. Seems like I might be able to carefully cu...

Cargo light insight, time out/how to get it to stay on??
Looking for some insight on how the cargo light works. 4th gen, 2017 fwiw. My issue is that the cargo light times out/shuts off way too fast, like two minutes. Is there any way to change this? Or does anybody have any insight into how it actually works? With the truck off, if I unlock/open the doors...

Re: Off and On Road Lights
Rigid single row 20". Had a fair number of requirements for this that led me to spend the money on the Rigid. First and foremost, I could only fit a single row where I wanted to mount this. I knew I wanted a light bar in that location as soon as I saw that grill, well before I even ordered the truck...

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
The grill was purchased off eBay (from a dealerships website) although it was hard to find. All there was was a part # and no picture of the grille. I bet I looked for 3 days before finding a '17 grille for sale. Around $900 delivered to my door though, Ram Rebel grills are much cheaper but will NO...

Re: Anyone Order a 2017?
...but I absolutely HATE the tire tread seats! Me too, just seems silly and tacky. I know some like the last gens graphics, but to me the new seats give me feeling as those did. Luckily on '17 you can now order the Leather & Luxury package and get leather and essentially all the Laramie bits with t...

Did somebody say Omaha? ha ha... Yes, Tradesman only and no ram boxes as option... Love the black.. Love it! I almost ordered one ('17) but found a low mileage cherry '15 that I bought... (Omaha Orange!) Saw your post and was more than a little envious. Love the color, especially with the new Power...

Re: Anyone Order a 2017?
There's a thread over on RamForumz that you really need to check out titled something like "2017 Status updates (Where's my truck?)". if you Google "RamForumz 2017 where's my truck" it will come up. The guy who runs the thread is SPP, a truly awesome guy. He works for Ram in some capacity, and goes ...

Re: No Aux switches for 2017??
I agree too, the Rambox was a must option for meas well. Ended up with Blue Streak as I have never owned any blue vehicle before. Also, like you I got "checkbox' happy and pretty much checked all the boxes except engine heater and the factory tonneau cover (for this I like some aftermarket options)...

Re: No Aux switches for 2017??
It isn't available with Leather & Lux because it includes the Alpine radio, which doesn't play with the VSIM. Afaik Laramie PW will still be available, they're certainly out there right now (and were several weeks ahead of the regular/SLT PW's). Still dont know if Upfitter includes the switches or n...

Do only the SLT's get the new grill/wheels etc? The '17 Laramie looks identical to the '16's... Yes. Laramie and Tradesman remain unchanged/same as others. SLT gets the new appearance package...new graphics, black powder coated bumpers with bed liner around the winch opening, bull dog/rebel grill, ...

Re: No Aux switches for 2017??
Congrats on the new PW. Post pic's when you get it. I can remember back in '08, that we thought that that was going to be the last year of the PW because of the low volume of sales. They was selling less then a 1000 a year then. Same for '09 too. Thought that there was not going to...

I'm on board too. Waiting for my new truck, and with the dual alts this is an upgrade i've already been considering, along with some sort of a custom brewed on board air setup in one of the Ram Box's. Olyer...you could totally just wire up the battery in Parallel, essentially landing the cables righ...

Am I the only one digging the idea of that rack? not sure I'm crazy about the sail panel, although it does continue the graphics well. The styling doesn't do a lot for me on that rack, but thats an awesome idea for a work if there's something on the roof to protect it as well. Would be awesome for s...

Re: 2017 2500/3500/Power Wagon Brochure ?
I got one of the Power Wagon brochures when I placed my order last week. Fleet Manager said it was their last one and he set it aside for me, hell of a guy. He said they had had them for at least a month. To be fair, its not much a brochure, same as what you see online...just highlights and pumps up...
