Ive been running E85 in the race car for years. Its wonderful. As long as you get it from a good station, it is not ill-tempered. It keeps carbon build up to vertually zero around the heads of valves, piston rings, piston tops, combustion chamber, etc. However, our fuel systems and maps were not ma...

Re: Suspension question...again

Have you noticed any inconsistancies in the front springs compared to stock? Meaning the front doesnt feel balanced to the rear, stiffer/softer in the front compared to stock? Etc?

Re: Suspension question...again

Thank you both! That definitely clarifies everything a lot more. So I want to stuff 37s with as little to no rub as possible, and I figured the small lift up front would help. I guess at full stuff against the bump stops, thats no different than factory any way.

Suspension question...again

I’m apologizing in advance: I’m sure this subject has been beat to death a thousand times, but I want to make sure I’m clear on what to do. Forgive my ignorance. I’ve done a lot of IFS stuff, but this awesome new truck is a new ball game for me. I have a ‘17. So, I’m looking at the Thuren 1.5” front...

Re: 2012 New to Me!

Well, once I get it I will let you know. Im also seriously considering a Pedal Commander to make up for any potential low end torque loss. That, and Im having the worst time trying to decide on which exhaust route to go.

Re: 2012 New to Me!

That truck looks great! Do the sliders bolt to the body? So I’m fixin to pull the trigger on a S&B intake. Ive had a lot if experience with them in my race shop days. Im definitely looking forward to meeting up sometime. Take care, and keep posting mods!

Re: more exhaust talk

Also, keep in mind your factory exhaust (after the y pipe) is mandrel bent (meaning the inner diameter of the exhaust pipe does not decrease like pressbent exhaust). You may actually see a change in your hp/torque curve on a chassis dyno and loose hp. I aggree with Easttnrhino. Go with a Magnaflow 3...

The PW owner on the TFL video mentioned getting the sliders from a guy in Crested Butte. I would love to know who that is and how to get ahold of them.

Re: BoldAdventures 2015 Power Wagon Build

So with the 1.5" Hemi coils, did you have to change the front shocks to longer ones? And is it required to get a longer track bar? Forgive my ignorance, Solid front axle stuff is new to me. Lastly, are you getting any front rub. If you are are, where and what did you have to trim? Thanks!

Any Colorado run interests?

Are there any CO members that would want to run some trails out here? Im brand new to being a PW owner and would be interested in a trail run with some members. Any takers?
