Re: Do you keep your rain sense wipers on all the time?

I forget mine are on many times, then all the sudden it rains a little and I reach to turn them on and too late. Its pretty rare that mine will fire off randomly for no reason. Wonder if yours has a tuning issue, or like waldo said basically the speed is the sensitivity. I will say bug splatters in ...

Re: PowerSteps

The Raptor comes with a rock ready steps. Not sliders exactly, but I would take em. The cheap nerf bars they have are not appropriate. The PW deserves an innovative rock slider/step. May not be as nice as electrics, but they wont rip off as easy or be expensive to repair.

Re: PowerSteps

Yes, I have WK. To be honest on all my other 4x4s sliders are actually a HINDRANCE to getting in! My Monteros, 4 Runner....But for what ever reason its perfect on the Power Wagon. I can walk up, step on the sliders and get in with out using the grab handle or anything else. If you had told me that b...

Rock Sliders are amazing as steps on these. I can simply walk into the cab. Hard to believe considering how hard it is to get in stock!

Re: Black Bear for Labor Day Weekend

Its no BS in a full size, I will assure you. Thousands of foot drops and inches away.....Length is not horrible, its more the width. But also there are some nasty wash outs before the big drops that are rolling a lot of rigs, and they are down right terrifying. As usual my Sway Bar Disconnect did no...

Re: Drove away from an Accident

The problem with a 2019 is none have been wrecked or worn out yet, so the parts chain is lean compared to prior models. I would not be terribly surprised at a delay on parts. But that means a free rental with free wear and tear, and you can get a truck. WHOO HOOO free car. Thats how I look at it eve...

Re: Radiator Hoses: To Change Or Not?

All that being said, if you ever have major engine work done and have to pull things apart, replace all the stuff. If you need major work on the engine, you probably need belts, hoses, water pump, ect. But with 10 miles a year it may never be a problem for you!

Re: Radiator Hoses: To Change Or Not?

I have 50K in less then 2 years, holy cow! Seriously I don't know what they make modern hoses and belts out of but they freaking last forever these days. Not sure I ever replaced any on my 2005 Nissan Titan at 230K

Black Bear for Labor Day Weekend

Worked on our land a bit, and took a day to do Black Bear, Imogene and then cap off with the Ouray Hot Springs. I must say Black Bear was a snug fit, but we lived. Sorry no pictures, more worried about getting down :excited: Cameras and folding mirrors are definitely helpful.

Transmission Issues

One of the reasons I am so nervous about Rams is the terrible record on Transmissions. Well, yesterday on the way to work I would start out from a stop and eventually the truck would clunk 2x then take 15 seconds to get to 30MPH. It did some of this clunking new and everyone said it would stop after...

Re: 2018 Power Wagon Brake Issues

It finally happened to me. I planned on turning around at the end of a mining road but a huge tree I was going to winch out of the way stopped me. The winch only tried to pull 20 more trees down as it would not pivot. Anyhow, had to do a nasty turn around on the side of the mountain and several time...

Cant believe these don't come with a step, last truck on the market with out one. That AMP step is great, sliders will also help you a lot. Good color choice.

Ok, I am closing on the rest of the mining claims in the area, I bought them all! Going to sell off 7 of the 8 for home sites after developing roads, building sites, and plans with county. Picked our site. This land is hidden, but right off the highway with mines, old building, giant waterfalls, the...

To be honest dual alternators should not be an option on the PW, they should be standard. One alternator or a single battery is not sufficient.

Does the Sway Bar Disconnect ever work?

Or is it just a POS Ram refuses to fix? Mine has never worked. Rarely unlocks and right now its been flashing since the last trip and wont re-engage. Pretty silly to have it when I am too scared to use it knowing its unlikely to work. Front locker wont ever work either, but the bi-pass kit took care...
