Chrysler said it was a weld failure and I will be without my power wagon for a while .... I wonder if I can but the old housing back? With only 3000 miles it would be a perfect one to truss I not worried about fixing the bracket I'm a welder by trade but I didn't want to touch it I case it was going...

It is a ready lift 1.75 I have used these on all three of my pw and never had an issue have 4 local buddy's using the same spacers with virtually the same set ups one is using the Carlie long arm drop brackets with his with no noticeable benefit whatsoever http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160713/a7...

I assure you that it was NOT bottomed out and there is more up travel on the shock than there is between the axle and the bump stop ... If you don't I teal they 1" shock saver you marginally decrease your articulation ... That being said yes there is rust /oxidation in the top 3/8 " of the furthest ...

It actually broke loose going down the highway at 75 haven't even been off road in a couple of weeks ... Had just picked it up from her first oil change

Having owned both I really like both but Rt are absolutely amazing in sand very quite and really not much noticeable difference in the mud imho

Put it back to stock if you can, to save yourself the headaches of arguing over whether or not your lift caused the failure. Broken shock mount
Has anyone had this happen I'm 3000 miles into my 2016 power wagon and my front driver side lower shock mount broke right of the front axle housing right where it was welded ??? The only mods I have is a 1" leveling kit ... Carli adjustable track bar and a dor steering box brace

Why did white knuckle go with the 2x3 instead of 2x2 in the sliders for the new powerwagon.... Is there a structural advantage to this in the orientation that they have them in that I am missing ?
