Re: Luke Bryan's Hunting Fishing Everday Truck
I feel like that’s the problem with GM theses days. I used to be hard core GM but they always come up with these awesome concepts but never put them in production. Or they just slap a few sticker on it and paint the wheels and charge $7k for the “appearance package”. If enterprise rent a car won’t r...

I want 35"s but I'm getting a good deal on 285/70 firestore m/ts today. $145 each. I guess the 35"s will have to wait.

Re: Beautiful used 2016 Laramie Power Wagon at dealer near m
Looks about like mine. Mine has a sunroof and tow mirrors tho. Mine was listed as a Laramie too. My dealer didn't even know they had it. I called him and said they had a Laramie power wagon I wanted to drive and he said there's no such thing. I told him the stock number and to have it ready in an ho...

Re: New Nitto Ridge Grappler tires (hybrid)
According to their website, they measure 36.77x12.52. They do not list the tire weights for some reason. http://www.nittotire.com/light-truck-tires/ridge-grappler-light-truck-tire/?gclid=CjwKEAiA4dPCBRCM4dqhlv2R1R8SJABom9pH6ePgGBOO8vTQmpAZb_zAr2-Zs9oXSowxgERduW68sxoCAC_w_wcB Thanks! Re: Help me decide on PW choices please
I would definitely get the newer one with the 6.4 if it's gonna be your daily driver. By the way it sounds it'd fit your use a lot better. That's just me tho. If I had the choice between my 11 and 15, I'd pick my 15 all day everyday.

Re: Help me decide on PW choices please
I traded my '11 PW for the '15 PW I have now. I do not miss my '11 at all. I don't crawl rocks or nothin with my rigs but I do off road quite a bit durning huntin season and thats why I love it. To me the 6.4/410 combo is way superior for my needs. I tow a 17 foot duck boat loaded up with all my dee...

Re: Swaybar popped out....2013 with 52K miles
I had an '11 that did this same thing twice. Once at 16k miles the other at around 20k. The first time I took it to the dealer and they had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. Then I showed them that the splines were sticking out of the smartbar housing. They said "that's normal. That's how...

Re: What do you love about your truck?
The ride is great for a 6700# truck, 6700lbs? I suspect many women would love to be weighed on the scale you weighed your power wagon on!  Seriously though unless you've removed an awful lot from your 15 Laramie that truck is every bit of 7100+lbs! Lol!! Well whatever it weighs!!! That'...

Re: What do you love about your truck?
I love everything about my truck. I loved my '11 but I'm in love with my newer '15 Laramie. Just an amazing truck. Seems to be easier to drive than the last one and the interior is amazing. Everything where it needs to be. The ride is great for a 6700# truck, pulls all my gear around. Looks great, w...

Re: Wagon was at dealer for recall fix, So I test drove a 20
$11000?!?!? That's a crock!!!! I just traded my '11 with 67k miles for $26k!!!!!! Then after the deal they found out that there were only 3 other PWs in the state. So they sold it at a premium. If you're serious about trading up ask you dealer to find another one.

Re: Back on the wagon
Holy shit thats a lot of wire. What, do you have to go all the way back to the rear axle locker plug or something? Basically run new wires and couplers to both of the axles. Then connect the control box to the battery. Then turn on the truck and set the relays and the mount the box. I highly recomm...

Re: Back on the wagon
It's plug and play. Mine came in and I installed it by myself in about three hours. And I was taking my time. Mine works like a charm too. Used it tonight to help my salesman make a sale on the '11 I traded in! Although the '11 won't lock In as fast cuz it doesn't have a bypass. I didn't have any wi...

Re: Power Wagon vs. Rebel... Sibling rivalries???
Let me start by saying I LOVE my PW. Specially my new Laramie. But I've always told my friends that gimme hell about having a 3/4 ton truck, that if they made a 1/2 ton PW I'd pry buy one. Like 04 says, I don't use mine as much as most of you guys do. I love the lockers and the winch but I don't do ...

Re: Why a PW doesn't have a CTD option via RAM
Got a buddy that has an '11 CTD and he's lookin for lockers for his truck. He's also one of those guys that had his truck programmed to the max. I told him good luck finding gears that'll take the torque. He just can't stand it that my PW has the off road capabilities it has.

Re: New Rig
My lockers lock instantly with 1/4 turn of the diff. I doubt I'll even use the lockers in 4Hi but the bypass is worth it just to make the system work as it should. This is the way mine is with the bypass too. Before mine would lock up but it'd take a awhile. Definitely worth the money even if I use...

Should be able to do the front on the ground? 2 hi: CAD/t-case disconnected. Try to spin the driveline by hand. No go, locker working. Disengage locker, should be able to spin the driveshaft by hand (as it goes through the dif and spins the inner shaft on the passenger side.) I just installed my by...
