Re: Airlifter 5000 Ultimate airbags w/ Daystar cradles '14+

I have a much better solution than using bags. Removable gas shock. Install when towing, pressurize, and drive. Remove when done towing, just release pressure then remove pins. Boom, bang done. All you need is a power tank with some nitrogen. Not too terrible. Way better ride and handling then stick...

Re: Thuren vs. Carli

My truck has not been easy to tune because of the modifications I have made. The truck cap, bed system, and spare tire carrier have totally changed the chassis handling characteristics. Had I ordered parts from Carli I would likely just be SOL. Thuren, on the other hand, has gone way beyond reasona...

Have you guys ever thought about inviting Chrysler along or to donate something cool like they do fir the Jeep dudes?
I'm trying to avoid us needing things like group insurance and registering with Moab as an actual event for as long as I'm volunteering and we're not huge. :poke:

There is a lot in Utah as a whole. But wasn't the title of your thread "Poser Shots in Moab" - thus Moab discussion :thppt:

The maze is pretty cool too. We have 13 trails and one overnighter picked out already though.

Re: Poser Shots in Moab

Oh, that is the road is down there... way-way further south down by Powell. Interesting, I didn't realize that was technical. That explains why it's not on Trail Damage or in other places. I was assuming a much shorter trail within the greater Moab region. Shorter being under 100 miles. That's too m...

I still have no idea where this trail is or if it’s even an actual trail. Have a map or an outline or something? Find it hard to believe there is an amazeball trail I can’t even find on traildamage

http://forum.powerwagonregistry.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3746&start=25 This is the thread to read if you’re curious about DOR products. The TLDR version for the lazy. See below; Danny actually duplicated Thurens website, bought a bunch of domains and then linked them to DOR. The Cummins Forum links ...

Re: Dodge Off Road brand reliability

They randomly have poor fitment issues that I do not understand. Part of it is that their parts have a lower quality plasma cut so sometimes you need to drill holes open to make them work. Sometimes parts come backwards or impossible to fit. They earned a very poor reputation regarding how they han...

I was just gonna say... but FordyceCreekTrail beat me to it. I've had old cars with small alternators and batteries. And yeah, you'd get stranded.

Must not be resellers trying to buy these. I would of figured if you could pick up on for 8-12k you could turn around and sell for 16-18k private.

Re: 17 dual alternator install

$750.00 Pft.

If you know a good alternator & starter shop, they can usually rebuild/upgrade them to a higher output using a kit for half that cost. We had a place in Tampa that I used that rebuilt my 180 on our Trailblazer to a 260 unit. Cost me under $200

Or get a kit and do it youself.

I had the Method Double Standards on 35's they're a great looking tire. But not as strong as your factory wheel.

But Methods would still be my choice, I never had any problems with them.

Dual battery setup and a high amp alternator is a bit cheaper and a faster install time. ;)

Re: BoldAdventures 2015 Power Wagon Build

Don Thuren told me I should try running 30psi front 15psi rear on those Toyo's because of just that, the rubber being stiff on the Toyo's. And that you kinda want to do just like sand with them. I haven't tried it yet, but I eventually will. So after we pulled out the couple in the video, we came ac...

Re: Supercharger

I think Magnum mentioned they were working on one in a FB post last year, but they've never circled back around to it. I think the 6.4 market share might just be too small. And apparently, the motor is too different from the SRT 6.4 to do a direct bolt on. Arrington is just adapting a 5.7 kit. But, ...

Arrington Performance will do it for you, if you're willing to drive to Maryland and pay them to install it. They aren't selling the kits.
