Re: Locker Bypass

My lockers almost always engaged quickly. Never had the problems others seem to have. I think Zak is onto something. There is a built in limiter. 3mph Also, your axle can be under tension and you might need to unload it/roll to lock. It’s the same with unlocking. Sometimes it will take a minute to u...

Re: New Rear Bumper?

I am also wanting but not finding a rear bumper that suits me. I wish diesel power products would tell me where they got this one So I know which truck build that is. I asked, repeatedly until I drove them crazy. It's an in-house build, built by the owner of that build, who works for them. It's 100...

Re: Locker Bypass

The big problem with Kinnettick is they just trick the system into thinking it's in 4-Low which means you end up with 4-low throttle mapping in 4 hi. Not ideal.

I do know about 3 people running Thule Cross bars, that are adjustable, just so we're being fair here, without issue: https://scontent.fboi1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/32289602_1893057044079001_4486232373058338816_n.jpg?_nc_cat=100&_nc_ht=scontent.fboi1-1.fna&oh=8fd32076dc80370cf33fa1c2a96cad88&oe=5C1...

Forum Member DamageWagon builds racks for the Ram platform, Rambox, Standard Bed, Rebel. Check them out here >> https://dethloffmfg.com/ I have been running the original prototype now since July 2017 without issue and love the setup. https://instagram.fboi1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/vp/40160b8f0d8cdf3966504ec...

Re: Towing advice

Supposedly they dropped it when they added the extra gear in the transmission. Who knows. Rumor mill is 2020 HD's are getting an all new 8-speed. 4.10's are not an issue. All 6.4 motors or 4.5 gen's have the 4.10 gears. Hasn't been an issue. Like I said, it's more noticeable going up to 37's. I'm go...

Re: "Smart" Sway Bar, discontinued part. Help please!

I forgot, I'll share this post here, this is the video I have on Instagram about how to hardwire your lockers, it's a bit long-winded, but it's all there.

Re: Re:

Thanks for the reply, the rear locker has been checked and is functioning. The problem seems to be the electronics in the sway bar like you mention not allowing the lockers to work from the switch and thus the blinking light. If I direct wire the lockers can you get the switch light to quit blinkin...

Re: Towing advice

Your friend will be fine. I've been pulling a trailer on three different tire sizes all over the place with my 2015 PW Laramie. With a family of 4 loaded up. The stock D range Durtracs are pretty soft and squishy. I was about 7000lbs during this photo, stock Duratracs: https://scontent.fboi1-1.fna.f...

Re: Thuren Test Drive

I do A LOT of washboard with the Kings. But my setup is tuned a bit more, when I requested the stage 3 I spent a bunch of detail explaining what annoyed me about little hits and washboard. Softer pressures help a lot. It seems silly to air down on a dirt road, but it will help greatly. Don't need cr...

Re: Thuren Test Drive

Your tire pressures are too high for dirt time. Hell, that's high for highway time on 37's IMO.

Re: Tire Pressures

I run 65 psi front and rear - once a year in October or November I add about 5 psi to get back to 65 psi when the temps drop. Don’t use the truck for play much anymore. :( My kidneys would shoot me if I ran those pressures unloaded. If I had your Toyo 35's, I wouldn't run 65 psi. The 33 Dur...

Re: New to me 2016 PW

If I don't go with BDS, I will for sure do Thuren as that seems to be loved across the PW owners on here. I have read so much about the 2.5 kings and of course 3.0, but the $$$ is crazy! I'm sure the ride is amazing, but I will not be doing any high speed runs as I bought this for the crawling. I w...

Re: Fed up!!! (More dura trash)

I'm thinking of running the HANKOOK DYNAPRO MT RT03 next after my Toyo's. Toyo's have been nice and strong, but they wear damn fast if you do a lot of highways. At least the MT's are. NTS007 on here has been running 4 sets of the Dynapro's and has given me a lot of great feedback about them. And the...

Re: Tire Pressures

I read that recommendation when he first posted it years ago. Use common sense and don't blindly follow anyone's recommendation if it puts you in a bad place. My front tire edges are still on the concrete at 70 psi - I wouldn't add his recommended 5-10psi to that and call it good like he suggests. ...

Re: Tire Pressures

Thuren has some great notes about Tire Pressures on these trucks on his site too: Notes on tire pressure With any pick-up truck being much lighter in the rear, compared to the front, you should run less tire pressure in the rear. With the engine assembly being so heavy on these heavy Diesel Rams, th...

That upper corner of the country seems to a tad ticket happy. I've heard those stories before, thus my warning. But for most of us, not a real concern. Interestingly enough, FL just puts the GVWR on your registration, mine says 10k. The 1500 I had I recall was listed at 7500 despite that not being t...

Re: GVWR and Payload

Armchair lawyers will always argue over the stickers. Look, DOT is not going to bother non-commercial vehicles in the United States. I have heard that it's a slightly different story in Cunkastan. And on some toll roads up in NJ & NY. But for the most part, nope. We have two people who finally clear...
