Re: Sliders

Despite being called "Sliders" I've always felt a hit is a better test. Any metal will handle being rubbed over a rock.

But can it hold up to this: https://www.instagram.com/p/BiptpxUgRSc/

Re: Sliders

Anyone know what sliders these are? In the video he says they are a knockoff of WK but I can't find anything on them. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3ZtVvBpI2o0 Oh yeah, David bought his used on CL somewhere near Aurora, CO. If you want WK sliders hold tight, they're going to be one of our title spo...

Re: 2020 Power Wagon - Spied

This design refresh appeals to me most as a future used truck buy. If/when the 2015 is too clapped out, there should be plenty of these used (whatever-gen, 4.75?) trucks on the market, most of them being babied street queens. The underpinnings being largely the same, all the armor and suspension up...

Re: 2020 Power Wagon - Spied

Unlock is a separate button, as apposed to turning the dial back. It may not be different but there is a chance. Let me get them to ask Ram. Suspension was raised 7MM in front per Ram and goes from 521 to 538 RTI. Just a guess, but they may be just fitting the buttons into the form factor of a swit...

Thuren Overland Suspension Compared to Stock Suspension

Great video from my pal Allen over at AVR. He has some real-world numbers too, on increased travel length, and RTI numbers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhjBenaFxI0&feature=youtu.be This is worth a watch for anyone who wants to know, what they get with Thuren. Re: Sliders

Aluminess sliders are steel. The problem with them is that they mount to the body just like step bars. Maybe OK for incidental bump protection, but not OK for hard hits and intentional use. The body mount can be strong enough. There is the hardcore Jeep trick where you cut away the rocker panels an...

Partners are helping us by covering the BLM per person per day per trail fee that the government thinks is acceptable.

Re: PWJouster's Build - 2018 Power Wagon "TrailWhale"

i hate the fact they didnt actually screw up the powerwagon for the next gen. i like alot of those improvements, but i have to say my 18 looks burly and tough while all these new trucks look to modern and crisp It's tempting, very tempting. But just not enough to get me to accept new truck prices. ...

Yea I dono, I honestly dont really care for the overall look. Some angles look good, and others just look effed up. To me anyway. To each their own. Its certainly way more functional than the stocker!!! It's probably the best quality less hassle bumper you can get right now. With all the mess we've...

Yup, EVO manual is hard to beat for the price. Yes, you have to manually turn it. It's not so bad really.

Re: 2020 Power Wagon - Spied

Moving Hill Assist to that location was a smart move. And for anyone wondering, the ability to manually downshift/upshift is still there. It's on the steering wheel itself, it's laid about a bit differently, but it's similar in terms of position where the cruise functions are now on our trucks. It's...
