Reloader, has the dealer brought up anything about you doing the oil changes and not them, and using something other than the mopar oil? This is one of the most persistent, never really thought out "I don't want to void my warranty claims" people cite on the internet about not changing their oil th...

Bolt sheered in the housing while on the trail, and well you can imagine the carnage. Took out the Ring & Pinion and the Locker. Very expensive.

Props for doing it in the dirt, lol. Mad respect.

Re: 37" tires with 4.10 for those who do have

Hit up Chris Sisseck over on offroad power wagon. As much as you disdain FB, he's been through his 2016 twice now. First with Nitro gears, then Yukon's. He literally did a full swap on the ground next to my trailer in Moab. Chris will know. Used to be a service tech. Helped us all get part numbers f...

Long dirt roads and my just squeal. Dirt/Dust particles are the likely culprit if they aren't worn.

Re: 37" tires with 4.10 for those who do have

I watched a dude change his gears and swap in a new locker in the dirt next to my Airstream. That looked fun. NOT. And yet he got it al done in a day.

Re: 37" tires with 4.10 for those who do have

Depends on how much hassle you want it it gets screwed up. Lets say I pay someone to do it and it gets screwed up, how much hassle will it be getting them to fix it right? Depends on the shop's honesty wouldn't it? "You didn't follow the break-in procedure" Lot's of horror stories out there. But I'...

That's a truck I just don't see anymore. Kind of like the Ford Lighting. Maybe just not popular in the part of the country we moved too. I recall seeing those all the time down in Florida.

I apologize if my view differs from yours. I know we all use our trucks differently also, so our choices will be different. If I came off as my way is the only way I am sorry. I didn't take it that way at all. That was just an in jest reply. I spent most of PWIM with it removed because it ...

Re: 2.5s versus 3" Kings

The 3.0's came right out after I bought mine, and I asked Don about them and he assured me that for my needs, the difference would be negligible. I'm incredibly happy with the 2.5's.

Re: Thuren Rear Sway Bar Link Clearance Issue W/ Diff Guard

The other two Chris & David with the links dragged theirs too. Becuase of the increased length they are significantly lower. It's not a problem on the street which is probably all most people ever do. And not a problem if you boogie. But if you crawl, that difference equals impact. I don't think min...

Re: Thuren Rear Sway Bar Link Clearance Issue W/ Diff Guard

All it's doing is wearing off paint. It seems to just rub.

I'm more concerned with the fact that the end links are so long they make contact with the ground every time I climb any obstacle.

We also got to the top a half hour before everyone else. Don Thuren has the Kings dialed in perfectly for my style of wheeling. They soak up all the annoying s//t on the trail.

Nissan Z, lololololol Did I miss a joke or are you just trying to be an asshole bc he drives a 350Z? It's a 370Z Nismo with 450hp that I use for trackdays. Maybe next year. I'll redo the motor to 700hp plus. Had a couple of 370z's with over 1,000 hp running. A lot like me was around 500 hp to...

Hey Rusty, have fun but also know that entire thing is a cop magnet. Have had countless people I used to work with go there & come back with tickets, JSYK. The fun police are everywhere, not just NY State. I was running this back in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and as it got more popular, they star...

Dethloff Mfg - Rack Owners

Just wanted to start a thread for owners of the Dethloff Mfg rack to post their experiences and show off their trucks and rack. I have the original prototype and have been enjoying it for almost a year now. https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/31253053_1828906634072362_205172301421871104_o....
