Re: What did you pay for your latest Gen PW

I don't think most people should negotiate their own deals. It's obvious who understands the sales process and who doesn't. Why anyone willingly sits down, immediately at a disadvantage, and mixes two separate transactions is beyond me. The majority of these transactions make zero financial sense a...

Re: Shock suggestion for towing/daily driver

Someone else here is running Skyjackers too. A lot of us on this forum, and almost everyone at PWIM was running Thuren's stuff. Dude knows these trucks. Best bang for the buck, and best damn service. Seriously, Don takes care of folks. I appreciate that. I'm running Kings now, but I looked at these,...

Re: Shock suggestion for towing/daily driver

I had messaged Cjc off road about the overlands and Cole had said they would probably be too soft still. Any truth behind that? I dunno what the deal is with CJC, but they continuously knock and lie about Thuren. Thuren doesn't use resellers. But CJC is a reseller and has interest in selling people...

This is a bit overkill, but I've been talking with DamageWagon about doing something similar, but seeing how we can do so without ruining ground clearance completely. 2018-07-08 13.47.25.jpg I have all but murdered most of the bars under my truck. Please note that I have a serious WARNING for those that have deflated and fit a 35x12.5 mud tire into the factory spare tire location: PLEASE CHECK IT ISN'T HITTING YOUR REAR SWAY BAR. They were able to let the air out of the Toyo and work it up in there, but it was jammed against the rear suspens...

Re: Shocks???

This is why we repeatedly say you can run Thurens coils up front on the stock shocks.

It won’t ride as good as his shock, since his shock is tuned for it. But on the PW, our shock is already just about the right length.

Remember this amounts to a 3 inch lift for the 2500 guys. It’s the same parts.

2) 2.5" shocks THIS - I've been thinking about this a lot. FOX Internal Bypass coil-overs and rear remote reservoir shocks" S...

Re: Rear Suspension

You can do stock or Thuren rear coils BUT in order to run Thuren shocks you need his coils, due to their extended lengths being much longer so that your coils don’t fall out in full droop. I’ve done a few trucks with Thuren rear coils and a 1” spacer and that works well. He coils are softer but als...

Yes, they look the same as the current 4.5 gen's, but different than the 2020 "regular" 3/4 tons (which now have dimples in them). Pictures of "dimples" please When they made the 3/4th gen split they only changed the body and a few small other things, but kept the drivetrain and suspension. Almost ...

Re: 2020 Ram 2500 Power Wagon spied

From my understanding, this is what they did with the 3rd/4th gen prior to 2014 when they changed the frame and added the 6.4 engine and changed the suspension. This really just isn't exciting. I was expecting more than sheet metal refresh. This is half-baked and half-assed. Also no getting around t...

Well, that's disappointing. :( It's the same frame, all new sheet metal only. Clearly, no changes to suspension or drive train (that can be determined from photos) on this one. https://s.aolcdn.com/dims-global/dims3/GLOB/legacy_thumbnail/916x515/quality/95/https://s.blogcdn.com/slideshows/images/sli...
