Re: Locker Bypass

They raised the price on that thing by about 10 bucks vs what I paid back in April. Your_Off_Road_Evolution_order_receipt.jpg If you're clever you could just make one yourself, it's literally a plate, with a screw that pushes the plunger or whatever you want to call it, inwards to disengage the sway...

Re: Locker Bypass

On my truck, I can reach it by squatting down, because I have a high-clearance bumper. https://www.offroadevolution.com/product/evo-mfg-nolimits-manual-rubicon-swaybar-disconnect-jk-jku/ But I suppose if you wanted to get fancy, you could use this one >> https://www.offroadevolution.com/product/evo-...

That sounds horrid. I'd rather buy a bumper from Kye again.

The the best way I know how to describe it without getting into the weeds talking about rotational mass and what not.

Re: Locker Bypass

I have stated in the past I didn’t see a need for a bypass, but my smart bar had the plug corrod. And now that I did it, I love it. I see the appeal. It’s just nice to be in Moab on an obstacle and turn those t suckers on and off when I need them. Are you saying your lockers are hard-wired to a swi...

Re: 2018, stock wheels, stock gears, and 5500-7000ft elevation

In comparison, 33's to 35's is less noticeable from your perception. It's like riding around with another passenger. You don't notice it compared to riding around by yourself. But load your truck up with 4 buddies and all your camping and fishing gear for the weekend. You'll notice that. That's how ...

That bumper is 100% for show, it's going to fold over if you hit it.

Re: 2017 Laramie PW

Yup, split model year. However, the few 2017 Ram Power Wagon Laramie's that were built, looked like all the others. They should look like mine and Reloaderguy's. IE Chrome. When they switched to the full new production style, the 3 trims were Tradesman, Power Wagon and Power Wagon with the Luxury Gr...

Re: Limiting straps

Don is coming out with bolt on right sized limit straps. Some have added custom straps. Most of us bang the skid plate out of the way and clear it. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk I was going to do that but I was concerned more about the brake lines already stretching with the shaft hitting. A...

Re: 2017 Laramie PW

Boldadventure, please explain. The AEV lift is 3 inches (it's a rounded number for the kit, lift height is different for front and rear) over stock 2500. On the Power Wagon, this equals leveling the front of the truck. How do we know? From first-hand experience and measurements. AEV trucks sit the ...

Yeah, you're not going to see an improvement from axle hop from a better shock. You can safely leave it OE.

Beautiful PW man. Curious what your thoughts are on the AEV lift. Did you install it yourself?

FYI, it's a level on a PW, and kind of a mistake to install one. Been over this a lot. Search the AEV threads.

Re: AFE Cold Air Intake

Lockedup - it will work. Just as Reloaderguy said. I have the intake, helped another guy on the FB group with the AEF intake. They do in fact work together. AEV is just covering their ass if it doesn't. They don't want you to complain. They give you a replacement airhorn that you rivet to the factor...

Re: New Rear Bumper?

The Kinzer bumper needs serious work, if you can even get one. It looked like from the pictures of both Nathan and Shawn's bumpers that it's slightly better. But Nathan said it's still pretty rough. But what they both dealt with in terms of getting the bumper (Kyes total lack of communication/suppo...

Re: Locker Bypass

My lockers almost always engaged quickly. Never had the problems others seem to have. I think Zak is onto something. There is a built in limiter. 3mph Also, your axle can be under tension and you might need to unload it/roll to lock. It’s the same with unlocking. Sometimes it will take a minute to u...

Re: New Rear Bumper?

I am also wanting but not finding a rear bumper that suits me. I wish diesel power products would tell me where they got this one So I know which truck build that is. I asked, repeatedly until I drove them crazy. It's an in-house build, built by the owner of that build, who works for them. It's 100...

Re: Locker Bypass

The big problem with Kinnettick is they just trick the system into thinking it's in 4-Low which means you end up with 4-low throttle mapping in 4 hi. Not ideal.
