Re: 2020 Power Wagon - Spied

8-speed and crawl have me half way there. I just want that extra room in the rear cab and the flat floor the 1500 got and I'm upgrading. That crawl ratio is nice for sure in that size of a vehicle when i had my Rubicon that had the 4.1 ratio tcase i was like this is beautiful Only thing i noticed w...

Best thing for sliders is paint. Then just touch them up every now and then.
Yup. Second this  Powder coat holds up on the tops with stepping on it. But it won't ever hold up to rocks.

Damn this thread took a hard turn, I'm looking at bumpers and all of a sudden folks gotta have back up sensors? All the electronic bullshit is getting ridiculous. Go buy a car with plastic covers for a "bumper" and sell the truck.

$200 bucks for a stupid box or $200 bucks towards the $550 I'd spend on a tune. Easy choice for me to make.

Re: Big Mods to a 2014+

I think I would spend the coin on slipping in an 8 speed tranny before I touched the motor. Maybe adapt the electronic shifting by utilizing push buttons on the dash? LOL Well, if we are going there, and I won the lottery, I'd love to do that. I'd probably also go balls to the walls with 40's and a...

Re: Swing tailgate

With the swinging barn doors on the trailer, you do need to be careful that they are secured - or they can swing open and hit someone in the next lane :excited: Hahahahah, speaking from experience?! Also, they need to be secured in the open position when dumping - or they can swing into the ground,...

Re: Big Mods to a 2014+

I don't need any of that crap either. Gears and rear bumper are all I really want.

If I had won the lottery, I think the only thing I might do is actually plunk down some money on that overpriced Limited grille. Actually, that's the only way I'd spend $799 on an appearance upgrade that isn't wheels.

Re: Big Mods to a 2014+

ProCharger is the only off the shelf kit available. MDS can't handle boost so you'll have to pull heads at a minimum. If you're digging in then pistons, studs, valve springs, etc would get you a lot more power. Might as well bore it and stroke it at that point. I assume they make Hemi stroker kits....

Re: Pedal commander

tune is always the best option. but at a price of the warranty. you know when your cruising at just the wrong speed and at just the wrong rpm and even when you put pedal to the floor, the truck wont downshift? when the pedal has 50% of the distance to cover 100% of the throttle, your little nudge, ...

it makes a huge improvment. the comments about not actually increasing power, or your foot can just move faster is bologna. it doesnt give you any more power, but it does make 50% throttle application read like 100% throttle and will help you modulate the power better when accelerating. when your o...

It's a 2020, they're wrong in their video for some reason. If it was a 19 they'd be for sale already.
