Re: [VIDEO] How-To Hard Wire Lockers

And if you comment about solder and heat shrink, suck it. Those are blue sea watertight butt connectors. :thppt: And it's been since April 2018, still working. :thppt: A few additional thoughts. Yes, I could trace those back to the smart bar and do my wiring there. But, I encountered duplicate wires...

[VIDEO] How-To Hard Wire Lockers

Just wanted to put this video in a formal place. We have this section of the site now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmTbs6hChxE This is not a definitive guide. It's just how I got it done when I was in a hurry. My locker/sway bar system took a dump two weeks before we left for PWIM and I was on a...

It is so odd to turning the locker switch and just have the lockers come on. Sure is annoying FCA wont address this 14 year old design flaw.
Is it really a design flaw? Or an intentional annoyance?

Either way, it's annoying.

You could add the EVO manual or air actuated swaybar disconnect and hardwire the lockers for a lot less $.
A LOT LESS. And it's more reliable.

Re: New Rear Bumper?

The more I've thought about it, the more I don't want to actually move my hitch up. I do and I don't. Moving it, means changing all the dynamics I already figured out with my hitch setup. And especially the dynamics of how the WD works.

You obviously didn’t read about all that extreme fully locked front and rear axle articulation he did that one time when he needed to write an article about his truck.

Re: Thuren from leveling kit

its 1.5 inch over factory 2500s but only .5 inch over a factory powerwagon Wrong. Don’s Hemi springs are 2” and 3” over a normal 2500 gasser. Accounting for the Power Wagon factory lift and weight of the winch, they net 0.5” and 1.5” on a Power Wagon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk What's confu...

Re: Suspension Recommendations for FWC Hawk Camper

Chris is spot on. You shouldn't do anything until you get the camper. We can all name things that make good upgrades, but it's all dependant on how you load it up and how it feels. I run a RTT and tow an Airstream, and my setup is dialed in for me without Airbags. Other dudes tow heavier and need ba...

Yes, you can adjust it. Matter of fact, my damn latch came off while we were off road in Colorado. I'm not a fan of how the latch is bolted. But it is what it is. I've upgraded the hardware.

Re: Rambox Panel Warping

Mine haven't delaminated either, but I have some bow and I suspect that's my fault for standing on them. You can adjust them with the adjusters on the sides, and I've even played with adjusting the lock to get them tighter fitting. There is a lot of play in adjusting these. They might be overall bet...

Re: 3.5 Ton Jeep on Station!

I’d wait years for a Thuren suspension before putting the BDS kit on my truck. DITTO , I waited for my Kings, I think everyone has. Just had this convo with a friend who isn't happy about his Kings he got from Carli after I told him last year to go with Thuren, but he just had to have them the foll...

Looking at BDS lift. Or after looking at Fab Fours Open Fender system I might try and fabricobble my own version haha, still can't believe they want 4.3K for the set up with that amount of body work... Put either of those on your truck and https://media.tenor.com/images/4d8a68b4af4dc2f7817484e2975f...

I will be ordering WK sliders really soon. It sucks not having them because it limits me on the trails I do. Oh damn, that's not even the Mufflex, since theirs is bolt in. That's a straight up welded in pipe. Yeah, that is gonna drone.

Also, AEV Snorkel works with the K&N. I have both. Although I think I'd like the new S&B intake even better.
