Re: 2006 Dodge Ram Power Wagon Title

You guys do know this is a thing right? http://powerwagonregistry.org/vin_decode.php Also, the 3rd gens they were supposed to be doing some sort of sequential special vin crap. http://powerwagonregistry.org/index.php I'm not sure if they do that anymore. I doubt they do, but probably did at first wh...

BAKflip is garbage. Have had top models and both fell apart in a years time and those jerk offs refuse to honor the warranty.

Re: EMF steering linkage?

Nope. It’s a continuous weld around the nuts to the center unit. I suspect it’s going to need a new drag link to adjust it. Not the case with this guys drag link “repair”. I cant tell if its bubblegum, jb weld or an actual weld. Regardless, what a joke. That's not the worst. Check out this post >> ...

Re: Bouncing Problemos

I addressed your issue at the very top of the page, you need more spring rate in the rear. You can start throwing money at the issue or you can take the advice of someone who has already experienced what you're going through. The AEV lift may actually solve your problem but not because of the BS li...

That's the problem with mods. You think you're invincible now and can give that line a try you were like "NO WAY on 35's" before. Only thing is you were right. Still not happening.

Re: Aluminum Driveshaft failures?

All of this said, some guys here have mentioned preemptively getting a driveshaft done, and I just wouldn’t do that. It isn’t an upgrade item except by necessity in my opinion. I’ve had the truck buried to the frame in a silt bed with the stock shaft leaving a nice deep impression in the ground and...

Re: Aluminum Driveshaft failures?

they’re not the fragile little butterflies you’re making them out to be either. They are. :poke: There was no spinning tires involved. I was just on it. And backing off didn't help. It let go. We've seen this multiple times now. If the drive shaft is on a rock and it spins, it will cut it open in a...

Re: Aluminum Driveshaft failures?

The thing about the rocks is that it's literally an aluminum can. It doesn't take much. If you contact a rock and it spins, it slices open. https://scontent.fboi1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/61256484_867934070265685_1488691245965377536_o.jpg?_nc_cat=109&_nc_ht=scontent.fboi1-1.fna&oh=c0daf2320da06af866...

Re: EMF steering linkage?

Well..........I ordered the DOR steering linkage. The 1013-STANDARD DOR Heavy Duty Steering Kit, Bolt-In, Standard Kit with stabilizer clamp and heim seals. Both tie-rod ends on the drag link are bad on my PW. I could hear/feel a slight knock at slow speeds. Took a while to find it. And my new smar...

Re: Aluminum Driveshaft failures?

I noticed how large the stock driveshaft is on my 18. Has anyone destroyed one in the rocks yet? I haven't seen anything on here about replacing it, but it looks vulnerable. A good friend told me it should be the first thing to go, but he plays in the rocks for a living. There are other things I wo...

Those are loads of fun and just as capable as a PW in mid-size trim I feel minus a few features. But still pretty capable compared to a Yota or Ranger.
