Re: Locker Bypass Installed!

It's the adjustment it describes for the lights. Just turn the screw slightly clockwise.

Go Rhino Bumper

Anyone tried one of these? Looks simple and decent. Price is right.

Re: Locker Bypass Installed!

2200? 450.

Switch is just if you lend it out. I never had an issue with my arb in my other truck but my Chevy people got confused just with 4 wd buttons.

Re: Locker Bypass Installed!

So despite me being a dumbass and getting stuck against a fence in a ditch and denting my bed... The bypass works awesome. The LSD in these trucks is pretty solid but some ice/snow versus pavement tests showed how well a locker helps. I couldn't move in 2wd. 2wd lock just idled ahead. Multiple times...

Re: Locker Bypass Installed!

Well, I was messing around in high range figuring wheel speed was the key to snow/ice. whoops.

Re: Locker Bypass Installed!

Finished the bypass install. The front was clicking a bit so did adjust it. Installed the safety bypass next to the fuse box (since I don't anticipate using it much, just if I lent the truck out.) Bypass.jpeg Testing out worked as advertised. Unfortunately got a little close to a fence post while wa...

Re: Locker Bypass Installed!

You won't be disappointed. The quality is outstanding.

I would say that's the best part of PWR. Not just the quality of the forum and input, but the vendors too. Locker bypass, Thuren's suspension, White Knuckle sliders all some of the nicest products I have ever purchased.

Locker Bypass Installed!

just bragging. Pretty cool to be able to flip the switch and lock the diffs without even trying. Just sitting in my driveway, 2wd, engine off (ignition on), flip the switch, spin the front driveline by hand a half turn and locked solid. The quality of the new kit is awesome. still need to mount the ...

They definitely were tight to remove! I had my IR impact on the Power Tank at 200 psi to knock them out.

I drove 200 miles in the snow for work today. This is the truck to have. Not a curse. I love that it looks like a regular 3/4 ton

Re: Spare Fuel

Well, I ended up going both routes. Obviously the Rotopax is locked and the VP is just strapped in. (Same ratchet strap is holding the chains.)

Re: Spare Fuel

:D (It will be hidden under my cheap vinyl tonneu cover.)

I think my truck is ghetto enough for being a 2016. It was broken into once and the only thing they took were my ratchet straps. :D

I had to do a conversion bearing on my Dana 70 in my second gen when I put spicer 5.13s in as well. History repeats.

Re: Spare Fuel

Well for $30 I ordered a VP 5 gallon. I jumped my Ranger a lot of times with it in the bed and never broke one. I still am working through a rotopax solution. I like the siphon. Probably need a couple of those.

So, if I read this right, would this be a direct fit, no spacer for our trucks (other than early 3G)

Re: 2020 Power Wagon - Spied

Damn its hard to believe they actually stuck something in a Jeep that is stout enough for a full size. Yeah. Its stout compared to the original 231 DHD, over twice as heavy. Recall the 2500 CTDs had 241 DHD cases which externally were the same size. The 241J is super cool. Fixed output, bolts to st...

Re: 2020 Power Wagon - Spied

yikes. if you want a good 4:1 T case, the Rubicon (241J) works really well. My second gen weighs about 7klb and has 42"S and has been beat. Broke every part. exploded the stock 231DHD. Have ran the 241J since 2003 with no issues. No brainer for me, I would replace it with another if I blow it up. Pl...

Re: 2020 Power Wagon - Spied

Judging by the exhaust, shock, wheels, tires, there is no mechanical changes other than the winch fairlead. So good on them for keeping the model but guessing it won’t be a must have due to upgrades.
