Re: 14+ 5.13 Gears, Noisy?

The 5.13s I put in my '01 didn't make any noise. Even with a 0.25" wall driveline. My friend, a Land Rover mechanic, set them up. They were Dana-Spicer I put in the Dana 70.

Re: LED Headlights

Odd, my aftermarket LED taillights/BU lighs haven't been any problem. I also went just LED replacement bulbs on the fogs rather than the full mori-moto with no issues. Saving up for their heidlgiths though.

Agreed. I really highly considered a Raptor but the PW just brings more utility.

Jack upgrade

Having had all types of hand jacks (shop, hydraulic, scissor, screw, hi lift) the sweet spot For my daily driver seems like a mechanical jack that i can run with a 20V impact would be most effective. Does anyone have a suggest on a particular unit? Looking at 2-2.5 ton scissors they seem to be very ...

Re: 2019 Ram power waggon is it worth to buy one?

If you want a very off-road capable fullsize 3/4 ton gas truck, then yes. I love my '16 and the 8 spd transmission would be an awesome upgrade. That being said, they are hard on fuel, make you want to buy expensive accessories, and require some modifications to fit you particular needs. Probably a G...

Re: PW swaying

My truck has the same miles (80k) but Thuren shocks and track bars and the higher rated heavier Toyos and sway is not in its vocabulary. Very tight.

Re: PW swaying

Oh god. Please tell me you don’t have factory tires. I don’t know how FCA convinced Goodyear to downgrade these tires but they are junk. Stock replacements from a Goodyear dealer are noticeably better. (I ran the 5 factory for about 30k miles until they were either blown out or worn out. I had two r...

LED fog Bulbs

Bought a pair of these for $32 https://www.amazon.com/stores/node/16491572011?_encoding=UTF8&field-lbr_brands_browse-bin=AUXITO&ref_=bl_dp_s_mw_16491572011 Initial assessment is wow. Obviously very white. Good spread out focus. I lowered them a bit so the lows were a bit higher (very easy with facto...

None of the places in Denver I went to I would go back, I would imagine SLC would have some decent shops. I'm not sure if Off Road Designs in Carbondale would do just some diffs but good people and good work from my experience.

I'm running 5.13s and 37s on my 2018. Running just over 2100rpms at 75mph. sounds about the same as 35s with 4.10. was hoping 5.13 would be closer to 2500rpm. oh well. what shops are knowledgable in the wagon axles that can do the 5.13 swap ? im about 2.5hrs from salt lake. 4hr from cheyenne. 6hr f...

Rear Flood LEDs

Installed Vivid Light bars surface mount lights in the rear bumper. These are two color with halos. The primary I wired into my Warn controller for the rear power port/lights; Halos are wired as running lights. Plasti-dip the bumper (sorry for the pic with the tape still, will get a better one.) Anyone done something interesting with the cargo cam ? Looks like the same connection at the camera as the tailgate cam. Thinking front or trailer cam would be more useful.
