Re: 2019 Ram power waggon is it worth to buy one?

If you want a very off-road capable fullsize 3/4 ton gas truck, then yes. I love my '16 and the 8 spd transmission would be an awesome upgrade. That being said, they are hard on fuel, make you want to buy expensive accessories, and require some modifications to fit you particular needs. Probably a G...

Re: PW swaying

My truck has the same miles (80k) but Thuren shocks and track bars and the higher rated heavier Toyos and sway is not in its vocabulary. Very tight.

Re: PW swaying

Oh god. Please tell me you don’t have factory tires. I don’t know how FCA convinced Goodyear to downgrade these tires but they are junk. Stock replacements from a Goodyear dealer are noticeably better. (I ran the 5 factory for about 30k miles until they were either blown out or worn out. I had two r...

Bought a pair of these for $32 https://www.amazon.com/stores/node/16491572011?_encoding=UTF8&field-lbr_brands_browse-bin=AUXITO&ref_=bl_dp_s_mw_16491572011 Initial assessment is wow. Obviously very white. Good spread out focus. I lowered them a bit so the lows were a bit higher (very easy with facto...

None of the places in Denver I went to I would go back, I would imagine SLC would have some decent shops. I'm not sure if Off Road Designs in Carbondale would do just some diffs but good people and good work from my experience.

I'm running 5.13s and 37s on my 2018. Running just over 2100rpms at 75mph. sounds about the same as 35s with 4.10. was hoping 5.13 would be closer to 2500rpm. oh well. what shops are knowledgable in the wagon axles that can do the 5.13 swap ? im about 2.5hrs from salt lake. 4hr from cheyenne. 6hr f...

Rear Flood LEDs

Installed Vivid Light bars surface mount lights in the rear bumper. These are two color with halos. The primary I wired into my Warn controller for the rear power port/lights; Halos are wired as running lights. Plasti-dip the bumper (sorry for the pic with the tape still, will get a better one.) Weirdness with Nav after Time Change

So maps and all software updated during the summer. Latest and greatest. I believe the last automatic update took (I accepted and followed instructions.) Sunday morning the clock was wrong. Reroute the Cargo Cam?

Anyone done something interesting with the cargo cam ? Looks like the same connection at the camera as the tailgate cam. Thinking front or trailer cam would be more useful.

Re: 2018 Power Wagon Brake Issues

New brake pads (and front rotors) made all the difference on mine... Frankly, the rotors were likely fine, the stock pads suck, and the install of pads helps with a quick bleed (compress the pistons, force the air back to the MC). They are big, heavy, stout brakes. Pads and a bleed should make them ...

Yep. open the package and plug it in. Super simple. I have one on my '16. I have the old school hard mounted one on my '01 (XP9.5) and it works great, too.

Re: Tazer or ProCal

The Procal works very well and is easy. I also have the hardware locker bypass (rather than the software style of the Tazer) that I am quite fond of. That being said, looking at he additional features, I would likely do the tazer if I didn't already have the procal mainly to get the same features (f...

Re: Trans cooler bypass valve delete?

hmm. THis is interesting. My transmission always runs 172 which is pretty ok in my opinion. However, I didn't realize it was a mechanical ball valve and not electronically controlled. On my old 46RE, it wouldn't shift to OD if the fluid dropped below 100 deg, and it would drop during extended lock u...

Re: Traction control on 2011?

I'm a TC hater as well. Damage Wagon is it potentially torque management? My Chevy was horrible for that. Only would do 40% of max throttle to 10 mph then could go wide open. Suck to do a burnout, but would do doughnuts like a mofo once you got the wheelspin up. At least on the PW, when I shift 4wd ...
