Re: Dodge Off Road brand reliability

I was really surprised how well the brace tightens up steering feel. Very worthwhile. I am still mad about yours going out with D shaped holes. We had a full staff meeting over that yesterday and two of my guys came up with a way to prevent that in the future. In my opinion, and the way I always di...

If you ever plan on an aftermarket sway bar make sure you mention it and the tent/rack to Don.

Re: Suspension question...again

Ordered some Carli Hemi 3" coils and 2.5s from CJC on Friday, and got the delivery notification by noon on Tuesday. Really excited to get some real shocks on the blue whale! Now I need to lay down a bunch of miles on my 35" RT's so I can justify upping to a 37"... 20k on them and still lots left in...

Danny has a knack for stirring up settled dust. There are a lot more subtle ways of resolving CS issues. I'm not sure exactly what you are referring to, but as an individual, I get tired of the same people bringing up the same thing over and over again. My goal is to resolve an issue and move on fr...

You could probably make the kit yourself for $20. $200 just to ride around with poor transmission mapping is laughable.

Re: snorkel guys .. need your input

I actually have noticed I have to clean the filterless, especially since I made sure it's all sealed. I would imagine if you keep the stock unit and use the pre-filter it should stay cleaner. Interesting observation, you can hear the intake sucking from outside the vehicle if you stand by it when i...

I thought Aduleca had AAM 4.88’s? Read the detailed thread, because I asked about that and clarification. He has Yukons. I thought he started out with yukons and traded up for AAM’s after.... I do have a shitty memory, though. http://forum.powerwagonregistry.org/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2348&start=150#...

Re: 37" tires with 4.10 for those who do have

Minor thread hijack. Are you guys just using the Procal to adjust tire sizes? I have the rental devices coming to fix tire size, add fog lights to high beams, and adjust tpms without dealer intervention. I'm just wondering if I'm missing the boat on something with the Procal? The Procal is worth ow...

Yeah, again zero impact. No improvement, not decrease. Mostly looks. I extended my breathers and taped it up. Thanks.. i was hoping for zero impact.. so looks like i may end up with one eventually... Perfect would have moved the air filter so we could mount a second battery in the same location as the diesel trucks.

Re: 37" tires with 4.10 for those who do have

When Thuren regeared his truck for the 38’s he had a dealership do it and used oem AAM parts. Preserved the warranty that route apparently He used the gears out of a PW. I would not let the shop he used touch my truck; Don had a good experience with them but I know several people that have not. To ...

Do you have any idea what it takes to get a tracked vehicle stuck?!?!? My god...
Yes...multiple 88's side by side. I think just about every tracked unit in the history of the Army has gotten multiple recovery vehicles stuck at the same time. Tracks are magnetized to POV's too.

Re: 37" tires with 4.10 for those who do have

If you have the correct tools and do it by the book, you should be 100% fine. Just like any precision assembly. I think the difference between having a dude that’s been a machinist and knows to be patient and take his time and constantly remeasure and knows that specs are requirements that you need...

I looked up the specs in the owners manual and is says 0w-40 for all conditions. Don't assume that the 0w is just for cold weather it could be required for other reasons if it was my engine I would stick with a name brand 0w-40 synthetic.
I believe MDS relies on the viscosity specification.

As for the etool, I've dug some fairly impressive stuff with an etool, to include, fighting positions, and recovering Abrams tanks. 😁
Who needs an 88 when you have an e-tool.

I've been running 37's for a year and a half. I keep kicking around changing gears but the truck drives fine. If I were towing I'd probably feel different. I'll probably regear when I go to 42's.

So weird that some people get great mileage and others terrible. There are plenty of us, myself included averaging 14mpg with 37's living in a mountainous area. Hell I just drove from Boise to Portland and got around 15.2 after I added my receipts up. There is almost no relevant data in any of thes...

The splash graphics only came on 22P and could be deleted at the factory or just removed by the end user. My 22J didn't come with graphics, two tone, or painted grill.

Re: Why are there so many newer PWs being traded in so early

If I can do it all over again I’d get the Cummins and add my current upgrades onto it plus a few more. I do mostly desert and trail runs and have rarely used the locking diffs and disconnecting sway bar. But, if you’re looking to do Jeep things and crawl over rough terrains you’d definitely appreci...

12lbs of N320 and 15k primers on order. I don't need more gun parts at the moment. That's a good start. :lockedandloaded: It's not. Turns out N320 sucks and I should have bought eight pounds of E3 instead. The stuff meters well enough but it's just as dirty as the W231 I found in the back of my cab...
