Oooh! So much new machine smell in this thread! I’m dying here Marcus! What do you need a rigging company to move?

That’s nuts rusty! What a monster line of compressors.
He bought a Sybian XL.

Do you have a cabin filter? Mine was pretty dirty and I was thinking there may be a resistance factor.

Re: AC Main Blend Door

It has happened to my truck too. The system just kind of gets confused. I thought it was a broken blend door like is common on 3rd gen trucks but the system reset and pow, cold AC again.

Re: New Tools Thread

Rigid tools are made by the same company that make Milwaukee tools.

BTW, I drove 120 1/2" bolts five times and only used half of a 2.0AH battery using a 1/4" ratchet.

If you figure out how to relocate the evap canister in front of your fuel tank titan makes a 52 gallon extended tank.

New Tools Thread

In this thread we discuss new tools. Post your new tool buys. Over the last few years I've been using Milwaukee M18 tools, mainly just the 1/4" impact driver, drill, angle drill, etc. I've reluctantly stayed away from the brushless because mine were good enough and I thought the first gen would get ...

Running a WD hitch on rough roads is a fast way to rip the WD brackets off or snap a load bar! You’re putting a ton of force into that system whenever the truck and trailer are shoved into being not level to the same plane.
The bars most commonly bend before they break.

Re: Weight Distribution Hitch Offroad

There isn't a single WD hitch on the market that is rated for travel on unimproved roads. Yes, wash boards while hooked up is hard on your trailer.

Re: Rear Diff Bearings Already

This has been discussed extensively on other forums. Dealerships are rarely qualified to set up gears. They normally throw parts at the problem until it's fixed or they give up. If after the bearings are changed it still isn't fixed you're better off paying an axle shop to reset up the gears.

Re: Rear Diff Bearings Already

What are the odds the gears were set up wrong from the factory and the dealer is incompetent so they're throwing parts at it? Makes you wonder if that's why the truck was traded in after the dealer couldn't fix it and told the previous owner it was normal.

Re: New Rear Bumper?

Interweb says that's about a $1450 rear bumper and you paid $100 extra for the clevis mounts. Did they just stick them to the face of the bumper with nothing behind them? Web says the bumper is all 3/16" and 1/4" steel. Is the shell 3/16" with no gussets or bracing? Looks decent from the outside, b...

Re: 2017 Laramie PW

Laramie Power Wagons don't have black mirrors. I don’t think that there were any Laramie Power Wagons in 2017+? IIRC, Ram got rid of the 3 trim levels and made the standard Power Wagon model based off of what was before the Laramie PW. You can still get the Power Wagon running gear as an option on ...

The double fairlead sucks. If there is any extra clearance around the mounting holes between the bumper and frame. Everytime you use the winch. The bumper will move up or down. If you have lights mounted on the bumper. They will be off of their aim. Either pointing up or down from where you had the...

Re: AFE Cold Air Intake

AEV are a bunch of tards, I wouldn't call them on the phone expecting anything but a cookie cutter response. They're the same people who claimed any gear set lower than 4.10 was noisy and why they didn't offer lower gears. The AEV raised air intake replaces the factory airhorn in the front of the ai...

Which intake do you have? The only AFE intake I've seen does work with the AEV snorkel. The system reuses the horn leading into the fender which is what AEV uses. Personally I'd keep the CAI.
