Re: What did you pay for your latest Gen PW

I don't think most people should negotiate their own deals. It's obvious who understands the sales process and who doesn't. Why anyone willingly sits down, immediately at a disadvantage, and mixes two separate transactions is beyond me. The majority of these transactions make zero financial sense a...

I traded the Challenger about 14 days after a bought it – that was the "lay down" :poke: I plan to keep this Power Wagon till it rots. These threads are always fun. How much collects on top of your gas tank skid now?
Less than the extra flat plating shown in that picture. What's the value of the passenger side plating? That looks like a longbed so I'd be curious what a shortbed skid system looked like. With bars that size you probably don't need plate.

If you pull back the fender liner there is more clearance. 37's fit perfectly with +18mm offset wheels.

LOL. Well, most brand new current model vehicles will be in negative equity if you try to trade them right back in. Everybody knows they loose thousands the minute you pull out of the dealer parking lot. That depends on how much you paid. I'd probably get close to what I paid for my truck tod...

So, most guys suggest Toyos and you get something else? This will almost certainly generate some "told you so's" down the road.
BFG's are super shitty and have been known to delaminate on HD trucks. I doubt there's a difference between KO3 and KO2. Hence why everyone recommends Toyo or Nitto.

My garage transmitter works great. I switched out a garage door opener and function was buggy when used close to the original remote. It's not the truck's fault garage doors are kind of crappy.

Re: Steering stablizer

Steering stabilizers only mute road feedback through the steering. Any balance, geometry, or wear related vibration coming through the steering will still be present after you change to a new stabilizer.

Re: Rear Suspension

I would definitely do the rear trackbar, even if you intend to keep the entire truck stock. I'd probably skip the rear coils unless you're going to run Thuren tuned shocks. Since you already have airbags there is no point to adding a coil spacer.

Re: Why the lack of subforums?

My initial hunch is it seems busy and really spread out given the fairly slow traffic that has been the norm as long as I've been around. I do like splitting up the generations to some extent. That's usually the pushback, and I get that. but there is currently ZERO organization to the current forum...

We'll see, the local dealer reinstalled used parts and billed FCA. The only thing FCA likes doing less than honoring it's warranty is paying fraudulent warranty claims.

Yes. I'm still going to use 5.13. I'm sure 5.38 would be better in party mode but 5.13 has OE gear sets available and I'm going to error on highway streetability.

I got a little different numbers but they're still close. Yeah, 5.13s it is. The RPM difference is more critical for diesel applications.
