Re: AFE Cold Air Intake

AEV are a bunch of tards, I wouldn't call them on the phone expecting anything but a cookie cutter response. They're the same people who claimed any gear set lower than 4.10 was noisy and why they didn't offer lower gears. The AEV raised air intake replaces the factory airhorn in the front of the ai...

Re: New Rear Bumper?

I keep hearing that... i know of three in some form of pre-thought through pre-production but no dice so far. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk I know what you mean but the one I'm thinking of is in powder coat and you'll see pictures of it in the near future. I think full production starts as s...

Re: AFE Cold Air Intake

Which intake do you have? The only AFE intake I've seen does work with the AEV snorkel. The system reuses the horn leading into the fender which is what AEV uses. Personally I'd keep the CAI.

Right now I'm stuck on 775Fab or Kinzer front bumper and the ADD Stealth Fighter rear bumper. Best options I've found so far. If I was 100% happy i'd have already pulled the trigger. Re: Fed up!!! (More dura trash)

I have said this before, I think the manufacturers tires that are on many new vehicles are either made to a different standard or they are blems that they buy in LARGE quantities to get huge discounts. Vehicles that we bought new that had tire problems of one sort or another & they only last half a...

Re: More problems

Truck started driving strange. Was accelerating very hesitantly, and then surging. Check engine light came on so ran to autozone and scanned the code. Came back as oil sending unit, took it to dealership and they are saying its the cam, lifters and gasket to the tune of $3000. Not sure what to do, ...

Re: Kill-switch for electronic nannies

I only have a 30A relay and is the reason I used the 30A fuse instead of the 40A. Good call. I wonder if the guys on DTX that have spliced into the tan/red wire have used properly rated components, because that wire is the 40A circuit. :o They ran the hot wire through the firewall, I don't think I'...

Re: Kill-switch for electronic nannies

7". The relay I have handy has a waterproof end and doesn't fit. I'd rather mount it to the side of the fuse box since my box is notched anyway. Interrupting a 12 ga. 40 amp circuit requires using 40 amp rated components. Unfortunately no one makes a waterproof SPDT 40 amp normally closed relay tha...

If you're considering BFG's then maybe Toyo RT's or Nitto Ridge Grapplers would be a better fit. My Toyo RT's have been boringly perfect.

Re: Kill-switch for electronic nannies

My hang up was the frailty of the plug in fuse adapter. If you have a robust adapter I'd certainly take another look. With that said though, my warranty is up next year and I'll probably just cut the harness. Do like BLM does and switch the negative side of a naturally open relay with a keyed power ...
