Re: Boogie wagon take 2

I'm already running Amsoil. Do you have a part number or source for the pulley? What is the stock size for the 6.4?

Can the stock pump handle being over-driven? It's only off idle with fast inputs.

Re: Boogie wagon take 2

Is there a PS pump available that would take out that dead spot when you make quick inputs? It feels like turning the wheel too fast for the steering to keep up. I only feel it when I'm backing up a trailer and making quick corrections.

I'm appreciating the dialog, as it's informative and I am not sure exactly what my main issue is yet! Lots of advice here to sort through for my specific issue. It may be better in a dedicated thread with an appropriate title though - may help other folks find it via search for future reference. I ...

YEAH, have fun with that. There was a guy who did that, even after we all told him not too. And he ended up cutting a lot of body. Less hassle to just buy wheels with the proper offset. Find other wheels you like.
Want to see what it takes for -32 to fit? :o

Re: 37x13.5 on -12 offsets

That combination is going to be hard into the pinch weld and all of the plastic in between. You could probably make it work if you have the ability to weld the seam once you cut 6" of the pinch weld flat with the cab.

Probably a BFG because it'll actually be the size of a 33" Toyo.
Im curious, what does your 37” RT’s measure?
New they were less than 1/4" under 37". They have 24k miles on them now which is probably where the 37" BFG would be dry rotted, measure 32", and need to be replaced.

Re: Bouncing Problemos

The initial swaying feeling is a combination of slack in the Smart Bar, low rebound dampening, short rear sway bar, inboard rear coils, and weight high up on the chassis. Lower tire pressure helps absorb some of it. Start with a set of Airlift ultimate airbags in Daystar cradles run at 5 to 10 psi a...

Re: ZR2 diesel test drive & test tow

Same as ours: have to be in Lo range. Probably have to lock the rear first but not 100% sure about that. I did like the fact that they are instantaneous. No blinking. Though it is considered a "manual" transfer case.....if the TCPS goes bad, you have no use of your lockers. Everything has it's pros...

Re: Reloaderguy's Build Thread - 2016 Laramie Power Wagon

This is taking longer than planned. You don't see any of this when the flares are completely on but here is what goes on underneath. I seam sealed the block off plates which is pretty ugly so I shot the area with color matched paint. Your rocker panels are not even close to sealed from the factory s...

Re: 16PW's Build-2016 Power Wagon

Since I took my OEM flares off I have to say I am a fan. Not only do the factory flares ruin your pain but they interrupt the body lines. With that said, the rocks are going to wreck your pain. Maybe body color bed liner is the way to go? I have tons of rock chips an am considering that route myself.

I double checked today and two cubes will fit on each side of the fairlead and still allow access to the break and remote. The outers hold another cube per side. If you need more light you can bolt a light bar to the top.
