The government shutdown caused all these auctions to be put on hold.

Re: Liqui Moly

I don't know anything about that brand, but I do know that you need to stick with the recommended oil viscosity or thinner to keep the MDS happy and not set a computer code. The computer is alway monitoring MDS reaction time in milliseconds and if it takes too long, you'll get a light.

Re: Locker bypass kit

Welcome to the forum Kinnettic, Will your next kit work on 2005-2009 3rd gen. trucks or just 4th gen. and newer? Also, reading your instruction sheet in the photo you attached, based on past experience, the 210 Ω resistance was used from 2005-2011, as long as the New Process #271 transfer case was u...

anybody ever drill the spicer caps and put needle or zirk grease fittings?
No can do. The caps are made of hardened kryptonite. Also I don't think theres a grease passage through the cross section of the joint, which make them stronger than a grease type joint. (solid iron vs. hollow)

Re: Big Time shudder at low speed/low pedal

Make sure you check the trans fluid level when the truck is idling in neutral to obtain a correct reading. Mopar trannies are different than others that are checked in park idling.

Re: Big Time shudder at low speed/low pedal

Just speculating out loud: Check your U-joints, look for rust coming out of the cups. Park on level ground, set the parking brake, block the wheels and leave the transmission in neutral then feel each U-joint for play. When was the last time you greased the hidden fitting in the front driveshaft? (c...

Re: Airlifter 5000 Ultimate airbags w/ Daystar cradles '14+

I have a much better solution than using bags. Removable gas shock. Install when towing, pressurize, and drive. Remove when done towing, just release pressure then remove pins. Boom, bang done. All you need is a power tank with some nitrogen. Not too terrible. Way better ride and handling then stic...

Re: Hardwired lockers on 4-4.5 gen

The Jeep system by ORE is easier because they're just triggering the existing locker relays. On the the PW there are no external relays to trigger, everything is built into the Smartbar/final drive control module. I agree with Reloaderguy's method of hardwiring. I wonder how things are going on Pit ...

:bump:
Looks like they added pictures for the truck in Grand Junction. Another beautiful Rambox edition in much better shape than the last one in Oregon, without the law enforcement backseat cage.
The price is already up to $17,600. I expect it will close over $20K.

Re: Rear locker wiring

Well I don't have a 14+, but my money is on the parking brake cable or brake flex hose as an attachment point. Both components paralleling each other down to the axle housing.

Re: clicking sound..balljoints?

Is the clicking cyclical or random? Check for loose brake pad movement against the caliper mounting bracket. Also see if the clicking stops when you lightly apply the brakes. A slightly warped rotor can grab and release the pad with each revolution of the wheel.

Found this PDF on RamTrucks.com. The last line on the PDF has direct application to this thread and is sad if true.

"The idle up function is not available and cannot be added to any other than the vehicles listed above. It is not available on Pickup trucks."

Re: Idle Up Feature for winching

This has been a Cummins feature for years, but not the Hemi. They advertised this as a feature on the Sterling Bullet with the Hemi and PTO package.
This company sells a high idle controller for 2007 to current hemi applications.

Re: Lockers in 4HI

There's also the option of hardwiring your lockers. Here's some diagrams and pictures I've saved for my own future reference. Here's a thread that discusses it with a link to another forum where I saved some of the pictures from. This is the connector you would need if you wanted to plug straight in...
