Re: Diff Temp video

I did a fluid service on an old Chevy 12 bolt LSD this week and thanks to this video series by Banks, I couldn't help but notice the unique shape of the factory cover. It has a channel formed into it to help direct oil to the axle tubes, increasing lubrication to the axle shaft and carrier bearings....

Re: For Sale- 4th Gen Locker By Pass from myoung84

I’m interested - what is the year cut-off or is it to current 2018 models? I’ll be honest, I’m not sure if there is a cut off year. I know folks made them work for multiple year 4th Gens, but I’m not sure if there are years that don’t work. Well I guess my question is was this made for the 2014+ tr...

Re: Hello just registered today

Hello, just met a fellow power wagon owner who turned me on to this site. I just recently upgraded from a 2006 ram bighorn to a 2013 Laramie power wagon, and what an upgrade. Besides the total luxury of the Laramie trim, this thing is a beast. It's a rock crawler right from the factory. The only th...

I'm interested in this, but only for the purpose of researching to see if it can be cloned easily. :digahole:
If it's beyond my ability I would put it back up for sale again.

Using relays would be better. I copied this off of Dodge Talk for you, Here's the link, but you won't be able to see the pictur...

I had posted that info above just after one of yours.

Cam lobe and lifter seem fine. Pushrod seat in the lifter looks fine. Bearing feels the same as the other 7 on that side with some hand load.
Ah yes, the page changed and I missed it.

So did this happen on cold start up, cruising along, or wide open throttle racing a Raptor?

Re: Kill-switch for electronic nannies

This was all caused by the ProCal?
How did you rectify this problem?
Did limp mode/no throttle response disappear in 2wd, or did you drive home at 10mph?
Dude, you have had the worst luck with that ProCal!

Working on this 1981 Corvette, replacing all the brake hydraulic components due to leakage that caused the warning light on the dash to get the drivers attention. Too many years since the last fluid flush. This one has 4 wheel disc with 4 piston calipers. 81 Vette - 1.jpg 81 Vette - 2.jpg 81 Vette -...

If it's the light I think you're talking about, they call it the ash receiver lamp, part #4608669AB. It's an assembly, I don't think the bulb is replaceable separately.

Thanks for posting this. I've been thinking I should do something like this, especially with all the crazy drivers in So. Cal. Judging by the fuse imprint in my kids playdough, looks to be about 1 1/8” of room, maybe 1 3/16”.

I only have a 30A relay and is the reason I used the 30A fuse instead of the 40A.
Good call.
I wonder if the guys on DTX that have spliced into the tan/red wire have used properly rated components, because that wire is the 40A circuit. :o
