Question for "BLM": Do the later models (2010 up) use this connector?
Nope, they use a 10 pin with the frustrating little red CPA (connector position assurance) lock. It’s a little easier to get to on the radiator core support frame but requires two steps to release it.

Re: 2005 bypass cable instalation help needed

It takes a lot of hand strength to release the lock tab. Look at the connector on the bypass harness for reference, then use a pair of pliers to pinch the release tab and pull out at the same time. I thought I was going to break it the first time I did it. The release tab is on the opposite side of ...

3rd Gen Locker Bypass Instructions

Installation instructions can get lost or misplaced, so I thought it would be good to post them here so everyone can access them. The only problem is that it's a PDF file and this forum doesn't support the PDF format, so I've converted each page to its own JPEG image to make this work. They do get a...

I bought my locker bypass in July but never installed it. I know I read some instructions but I can't remember if it was online or if they came with it?
The 4th Gen installation instructions are available here.

Re: Working on an Electric Sway Bar Bypass

There are 10 wires going in and out of that connector on my truck. What does that mean regarding the bypass possibilities? Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk It means that your truck has the newer CAN-BUS system that won't allow the use of the factory dash switches to control the sway bar bypas...

Re: Working on an Electric Sway Bar Bypass

A short update on this project: I thought I was going to be able to control the new Sway Bar Bypass with the factory switches, however, beta testing has revealed an issue with the 2013-18 trucks. The CAN-BUS circuitry was changed in 2013 and inhibits me from using the OEM dash buttons. Fortunately ...

Welcome to the forum! Whenever you get around to ordering the locker bypass, be sure to remind me that you need a little extra length on your axle harnesses to accommodate your lift kit.

Re: FS: Abel Components Locker Bypass® - Calif. - $450

For those of you that already have a Morgan, Shelby or Abel Locker Bypass: There's a retrofit upgrade coming that will give you the ability to control your sway bar at will also. Is this an upgrade to the one you created? Is there a writeup on it? I haven't actually installed mine yet... so if I co...

The factory switches will always indicate that it’s connected and won’t have any flashing lights, but the new rocker ...

Re: 3 Gen Stainless SRT Exhaust Stud/Bolt PNs?

If the SS fasteners break in the future, they will be much more difficult to drill and extract.
Ford used SS on the 460 engine for trucks and motorhomes in the 90s. They still broke and took 3X as long to fix.
