Re: 4.88 vs 5.13
Honestly when it comes to gears nowadays there's no reason to shop yukon. You're paying for a name that is just on a box. They are not made in US any more, nor is Richmond, yukon gets from all over the place so you're really in a crazy shoot on if you get decent gears or not. Research your brands c...

Re: 4.88 vs 5.13
Can you guys give me the part #'s for the 2014+ axles? Everything I've found is 2013 and down. I think 4.88 would be ideal but 37s would be a nice touch with my AEV wheels tad bit extra offset.

Yeah, they said they had to check mine out this week too. I've never had a problem. I use it mostly for a vent when the truck is parked and baking in the sun.

Power Wagon had to Earn its Keep Off-Road
The Power Wagon had to get serious and go to work today. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y188/Luke_Duke/Mobile%20Uploads/image.jpeg My grandfather, who is 83y/o, got the 40hp Massey Ferguson high centered with the bush hog. He was going through the creek and there it stayed for the last day. This m...

Nuked my battery it appears
So, my dad put his big frame 75hp John Deere, with 8' disc mower, in the pond 3 weeks ago and I had to winch him out. It was a LOAD too. I could barely hold the truck so he had another tractor put tension on the Deere while I winch it out. Fast forward to yesterday and I started getting low voltage w...

Alright, I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer....so you're mounting the H2 wheels on her truck and they are "essentially" the same specs but look different?

Re: 2016 PW wheels?
Did your daughter just want different wheels? Chances are whatever are going back on the truck aren't the quality of what you're pulling off. They have the integrated bead keeper, are made in the USA, and, I believe, are forged. I say all that as a argument to keep them out away in the garage or som...

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I've had Nittos but never Toyos.
On a tangent; it's always kinda weird explaining to people that they don't need width/floatation like they think they do.

Toyo 285/75R17s En Route
Just had the local shop order me some Toyos. My dad wanted my Duratracs so we came to an agreement. Can't wait to fill up the wheel wells a little more!

A good story and I forgot to take pics!
So last week I jumped on the tractor to go mow around our pond with with a disc mower. I missed that the tire was a little low, which is a big deal on a slope with 1K lbs. hanging off that side.   Anyhow, somewhere on the levy I picked up something that made the tire start to lose wh...

At the local shop (with a mandrel bender) they said I should stick with the single out, but go to a better Y up front when I get a CAI and Tuner. Another thing I've found interesting is that we've all talked about back pressure for years, at least in my neck of the woods, when in reality it's lost i...

No PW though, was disappoint. https://mule.smugmug.com/Snowmobiles/20160325-1/n-gBP3JT/i-m3FNzZp/1/L/i-m3FNzZp-L.jpg I think they are appealing to the guys who "have" to have a Cummins and want a power wagon, but "have" to get a diesel because "dodge gas burners are cr...

Re: 6.4 Hemi what is possible???
I seem to recall that the truck motor CAN take challenger/charger parts. I understood the difference between the motors is the durability. Oil jets on the piston skirts, maximized oil circulation system, maximized cooling circuit. There are very few bolt-on parts out there and the real power comes f...

Re: Thuren UPDATE for 2014+ PW's
I certainly appreciate being mentioned, but I don't want to take anything away from Don or Carli. They make great stuff and I'm sure they will get things figured out for the Hemi and Power Wagon crowd when the time is right for them. What I will say, and I think those guys would agree with this (th...

Thanks fellas! I still have to get one more relay and then I should be able to start the install. As to the gap, I put it all the way up against the wall and then back up about a 1/4".
