Re: Bought a 2019 Chevy Colorado ZR2

So, those old Yota's have pretty small frames..and while I've not been looking, I havent ever seen or heard of that type of failure with them, and some of those trucks are driven ridiculously hard, even loaded. I guess the trucks match the drivers now, not straight... And yeah, that trailer is most ...

Re: Chinese tires

Personally, I would avoid off-brand tires. If the tires currently on your vehicle are safe to use, you should wait until you can afford something better than bottom of the barrel, especially if they're going on a truck. If you're on a budget, look at Mastercraft, they're Basically Cooper Tire's "bud...

Re: WK Sliders - To diamond plate or not?

I have the WK sliders with the diamond plate on top, after 3+ years of year-round use I'd order it again. It works very well as a step, and prevents ones foot from potentially slipping and getting caught between the tubes. The diamond plate is actually quite "grippy", and has worked suprisingly well...

Re: Steering shaft/box

Just to reiterate what DamageWagon has already stated, because it's very important, that adjustment screw on the top of the box isn't to be adjusted while on the vehicle, regardless of how many fools on YouTube will tell you to do so. That screw is to be adjusted in a particular manner that is impos...

Back when I was on the 35" Mastercraft AXT's that the previous owner had installed. Not at all a bad tire, never really had a problem with them, even in mud. Re: New Shoes On!

Also, FYI, tire inflation pressure doesn't change the tires circumference and thus, has no effect on odometer/speedometer readings. This isn't true, fill your tires to max psi, measure from ground to center of axle, then lower psi to 15 psi and remeasure... your radius will be less and will effect ...

A good torque wrench is definitely a necessity. I was recommended this one by CJC Offroad(IIRC) a few years back and it's held up well with quite a bit of use. Made in the USA and includes a calibration certificate. A

Re: New Shoes On!

Looks great! I like the wheels, and I've always preferred the "blacked out" look myself. In all seriousness, 35's are perfectly fine and are probably the "best" tire size for a truck that's not being driven hard off-road most of the time. Not too small, but not so big that they require modifications...

Hello, first Dodge for me. I've always been a Jeep/Ford guy. Picked up a 2005 PW with 93k, all stock and was looking for some upgrades and stumbled upon this site. First thing I would like is to brace up the factory steering box and replace the sway bar end links. Any good recommendations? Thanks M...

hmmm...I wonder if the performance increase is from a "better"/newer-design coil or if the old coils were just "worn out"(do they wear out?).

There are quite a few Hemi swapped JK's/JKU's with the 241. You might try asking those guys with regards to durability.
