Re: Fabfour Grumper

I'm lost as to why anyone would spend $3,000 on that thing(not including the windsheld "vicowl"). It looks retarded, adds unnecessary weight, reduces airflow to the radiators and worsens aerodynamics. All for what? to look different? About $4,300 for the "grumper" and "vicowl". :run: There ar...

They start at about $88,000 and go up from there, usually to just under $100,000. Same engine as the hellcat.

Seriously cool.

I think, maybe.... I might just be able to build a smart bar bypass using 5 relays a few resistors and still use the factory OEM knob.
That'd be pimpin', if you can make it work.

So...what happens if Mr. BLM guy shows up while two or more separate groups happen to be in the same place, at the same time? So if there are lets say 20 trucks out there, does it really matter if they're all together or split in groups of 10 a few miles apart? The current 6.4L "HD truck" Hemi is rated at 410HP and 429lb-Ft, while the 5.7L Hemi is rated at 383HP and 400lb-Ft in the HD trucks and 395HP and 410lb-Ft in the 1500's. They're all pretty close to each other.

Nice truck man. Welcome to the madness!

Re: The Cactus Red mod thread.

Did both have 3 ply sidewalls ? If so, maybe rubber was a softer compound ? Sometimes, a load range "D" tire has the same weight rating (3195 lbs) as load range "E" tire & requires lower air pressure as a result. Tires sure are funny, the way they are rated & constructed, from mfg. to mfg. . They S...

Look's like I spoke too soon.

Were they the same load range & size as the STT's? The only difference between the S/T MAXX and the STT's is the tread pattern, so...that's really odd.

It's been said, ad infinitum, but guns aren't the problem. Making it harder to get a firearm won't discourage the types of people who commit these atrocities, they will simply use another means. Our federal firearms laws in the US are, for the most part, pretty "sensible" and "common sense". The dea...

No doubt winching has the potential to be dangerous. How many people die each year by getting hit with a failed projectile shackle? I searched around for a while and couldn't find any. But I do believe it could and does happen. Looks like cable breaks, strap breaks, chain breaks, and parts breaking...

Re: Winch rope extension question

Suppose you are extracting a stuck vehicle and the conditions require the length of two straps, they are joined together in the middle by a steel shackle. Should one of the straps fail while under tension, that heavy metal shackle is now flying through the air in the opposite direction of the broken...

the stock flat filter has to be a restriction. any cone that size is going to flow better... Got 31000 miles out of the 315/70-17 Cooper ST Pros. All in all, they were an excellent tire. Very good traction, very tough sidewalls. But, as part of now towing our new camper, I decided to go back to stock tires in a slightly less aggressive tread pattern. The truck is now wearing 285/70-17 Coop...
