Charlotte, NC Mechanic for 100k Service

I'm nearing the 100k mile mark on my 2015 PW. Right now, I just don't have the time to take care of it myself so I'm looking for a shop to take it to. Does anyone have any recommendations on shops in the Charlotte area that knows their stuff? Also, while it's there what else should I have done? Obvi...

Re: 2014-17 tire size consensus

I just had the Nitto Exo Grapplers installed. 35x12.5r17. Absolutely no mods have been done to the truck, except for some white knuckle sliders. There is no rub while daily driving. I haven't had a chance to flex it. They measure right around 34" with 60/65psi installed. The spare fits in the stock ...

Re: Anyone keep track of their trucks lifetime avg fuel mile

I've noticed that the "lifetime average MPG" on the info screen, really is just the average MPG over the last 500 miles. I've got a little over 35,000 miles on my wagon, so there is no way that a short haul (~250 miles) with a trailer, averaging 11mpg (normal is around 13mpg) would bring down my lif...

I hear ya... it's the ONLY way to buy more genuine clearance
Portal axles are another way to buy more genuine clearance...but you definitely have to spend a nice chunk of change to buy it. :cash:

Re: WTB 2010-2016 Hood

Here's a link to a new one, not sure if you can beat the price even trying to locate a used one... http://www.buymoparpartsnow.com/dodge/ram-2500/55372244aj/2010-year/power-wagon-trim/5-7l-v8-gas-engine/body-cat/hood-and-components-scat/?part_name=hood Yeah, I saw that. WTB 2010-2016 Hood

Hey All, So I had some stuff fall on my hood putting a pretty sizable dent in it as well as some pretty deep scratches. Before I start calling junkyards and body shops, I figured I would check here first. Would anyone happen to have a spare hood lying around, or maybe looking to change their hood fo...

Re: Brakes Lacking Power?

Thanks for all of the replies so far. I'm glad it's not just me experiencing this 'issue.' I am fairly light-footed on the brake; i would rather coast down from speed than use the brakes if I can. But if Jack187 is correct about the brakes noticeably improving after switching to larger tires and let...

Brakes Lacking Power?

Hey All, So I got my new (2015) PW back in January, and I've had a great time with it so far. One question that I have about it is about the brakes. When driving down the road/highway/interstate etc. and someone pulls out right in front of me, I of course slam on the brakes. However, so far, I haven...
