Re: G56 Neutral Noise Question

Pretty sure it’s gear rollover. A lot of g56 guys run gorilla juice and/or slightly overfill.

Re: xfer case linkage

To the guys that have done this and have a noticeable increase in noise and/or vibration, try adjusting the linkage so there’s about 1/8-1/4” free play in it. That’s how I set mine up when I came up with the mod and it hasn’t increased nvh at all on my truck. The trucks newer than 3rd gens I can’t s...

Re: Any Pics of Hutchinson Wheels?

The 2 piece seem easier to do tire repair in the field. Are they? I would not be disassembling a wheel in the dirt. Tire repair kits can fix the tire from the outside. Only the big patches like you’d get a tire shop to install require removing the tire. If you get a flat from more than an easily re...

Re: Tire Feedback

I don’t have any experience with the irok radials, but I run the bias ply on my rock Jeep. They’re tough and grip like crazy. Loud as hell on pavement but decent at speed as far as grip and control. I’d be very curious to hear how they do in a radial

Re: adeluca73's Build - 2014 2014 POWER WAGON SLT FLAME RED TWO TONE

That’s an impressive pile of parts! Going to feel like a whole new truck. What stage valving did you opt for? Apologies if you said already, I looked but didn’t see. You may have issue with driveshaft contact on the rear skid plate crossmember as the rear droops out, something to check for on instal...

Yes, I meant to post the one that was 36$ and free shipping. Either way it’s not completely necessary but will make your life infinitely easier. And stock new price is over 80$ if I remember correctly. I’ve never found any regular seal drivers that will work on this one, hence the existence of a spe...

Re: o ring for p/s reservoir

A generic TC style pump will work. Much cheaper and can be had in higher output as well. Just needs a little work to mount a reservoir etc.

Re: Easy way to fix driver's side lean?

Actually had a similar problem myself, the alignment monkey had my cam bolts 180* out from each other and it caused the whole body to lean like an inch to one side. Fixed alignment and the lean disappeared. That’s on a 4 link truck

Re: Converting overall costs for capability

Low_sky has a good idea with the take off smartbar + evo. That’s certainly a good alternative to a torsion bar. I’d wager you’d be happier with 4.56 gears if on 37’s, which is a point in favor of swapping oem power wagon axles in if you can find them, oh wait, they only come with 4.10’s now lol Good...

Re: Converting overall costs for capability

Get the Cummins mega and just do arb lockers and a Thuren or Carli torsion swaybar along with whatever suspension floats your boat. A mercenary bumper will fit a large frame warn winch without sticking out a half mile. If you go with a 3500 the leaf spring rear allows fitment of 3” shocks/bypasses i...

Re: Any Pics of Hutchinson Wheels?

I’m surprised to hear that mikekey, with all the rock crawling you do I’d have thought the double beadlock would be more appealing to you. I have trailreadys on another vehicle and they’re awesome, but you can still loose an inner bead aired down and off camber. They’re more of a go fast wheel in my...

Re: o ring for p/s reservoir

I’ve changed it several times replacing pumps, you may have to buy a new reservoir to get the factory piece, or just disassemble and match it up to an o ring at an industrial place or Napa etc. The factory connection between the reservoir and pump has the o ring AND a little plastic restrictor that ...

Re: 37" tires with 4.10 for those who do have

If you only do work in the forward direction, it reduces to a question of optimization... If backing something heavy up a winding hill in 4Lo is in the picture, I would think twice about the "weaker" gear set. I've been in 4Lo reverse with the wheels taking turns breaking loose - stock gears - hopi...
