Re: New Sway bar disconnect.....
It was connected, in 4 low, going slow about to go down the hill in pic. This is where it happened. Going to stop at a machine shop tomorrow and see if they csn do anything. Didn't really notice it towing and I was driving through a windy highway, guess the one side connected helps. Didn't think the...

New Sway bar disconnect.....
I was heading to my favourite fishing lake on the wknd and truck was flexing nicely when I heard a pop. Looked around and looked like it was judt the tire rubbing in wheel well. Kept driving and hit the trail to the lake. I then looked around truck and the sway bar in one side snapped in half, not t...

Difference between 2006 Yukon Hub kit and 2012
I'm looking at buying a 2012 PW. I have the Yukon front hub kit on my 06 and wanted to put on the 2012. It shows 2012 as being a different kit. I called Yukon but the guy I talked to didnt know of what changes there were. Anyone know?

so was the 06 best year any one else with half million miles still running good no issues,so its time for transplant soon. To be honest a new truck is good news however this one is easier to maintain, and everything has been redone power train besides engine. 06 must be a good year. I have a 06 with...

Re: Just got my Black 2017 Wagon
Nice truck, love the all black, I would get the same if\when I get a new one. Was it on Kijiji Alberta a week or so ago, I was drooling over it. Price didn't seem too bad if that was it. One day I'll trade mine in, maybe.....

Re: Power wagon front axle into 3500
I swapped a PW axle into a regular 2500 few years back I wired tbe locker to a toggle switch, wasn't too hard. You only use 2 of the 4 wires coming out of dif. This way you can use the locker anytime. Debating doing this to my PW. .......

Got tires balanced, again, what a difference
I've had a bad shake/shutter for too long. Redid swaybar bushings/end links, tracbar bushings, new longer control arms, steering box stabilizer steering bracket and some other crap. shake/shutter was still there. Had tires rebalanced few months ago and still was there. Brought it in again last week ...

Saw that one listed in Kamloops. Sounds like alot of gremlins, could nickel and dime you to death and drive you to drink, maybe not a bad thing. I'd keep looking

Now that it's rainy season I'm noticing a bit of water coming down front pillars. Anyone have a pic where front and rear drains are or can tell me where they are.

Re: Hopefully buying a PW soon...
Not sure what Province you're in but check Alberta Kijiji, thats where I bought mine from and there are usually quite a few there for sale. Mines a 06 with 460km now, been a great truck, engine original and still going strong. Had another high mileage Hemi that gave me no issues. Pretty much check w...

Think I'm in the lead, 456km , 283.....miles. Engine still strong.Person I bought it off few years ago said engine had never been redone. Tranny made it to 420km. Lockers and swaybar all work great. Front end is another story.

My first pw is a '16, so i cant really do a compariosn (although i did have a regular '06 2500). It tows just fine. We have a 7000 pound (when empty) travel trailer i drag around with it and it does just fine. Its not a diesel, but it works. I dont think you will experience/feel much more power wit...

Towing differences from 3rd gen to 4th
Just came back from towing our travel trailer 500 miles each way. Went through scales and trailer was 6600lb. Towed not bad on I5, pretty flat but hills were a bit annoying shifting into 2nd. I know lots of guys on the board have gone from a 3rd gen to 4th. Wondering how much better they tow with th...

Re: sand tire pressure
I was at Florence Oregon ladt summer and heading there again in 2 weeks. I was at about 22 psi and it was terrible. Sand was soft and with both lockers couldn't climb a hill every other truck was getting up, embarrassed /mad. Went down to about 12 psi and made huge difference, cruised right up.. Tha...
