Those should fit easily. If you have any rubbing, it should be minimal and only at full lock.

Re: 2013-2018 Change Dealer Settings Yourself: TPMS, LED, HID, Tire Size etc With AlfaOBD!
Is this tool able to accommodate gearing changes as well? Like switching from 4.10 to 4.88 or 5.13, or do you have to calculate for a tire size with the equivalent final drive ratio as the 4.10 and 33's? Sorry if its a dumb question, but I didn't see that touched on in this thread. When I went to 4...

Re: 2013-2018 Change Dealer Settings Yourself: TPMS, LED, HID, Tire Size etc With AlfaOBD!
Do you show any faults in the bcm, engine, or abs? Oh yeah..... almost forgot.... a post I saw a long time ago said the front and rear have to have the same values.... so make front and rear both 20 or 25. Can't recall the reason. Just recall seeing it. Here are the steps I used: TPMS: https://drive...

Anyone have the TPMS light stay on even though your thresholds are now reading lower? What settings did you use? Is it mad that they are over your pressure (can that even happen? I don't know)? 25 front, 20 rear. Showing all red. I thought it went away, or maybe I hit the next button one to many ti...

Re: 2019+/5th Gen Air Dam Removal
Those mounts hanging down are called compatibility brackets. They are part of your NTSB tested collision system. They can be cross purposed for plows and other things, but in actuality, they are designed to keep low profile cars from going too far under you in a head on impact.

Replaced the muffler, and still have the resonator.
Even with the resonator it is a droning son of a bitch.

Sounds like a scam. You couldn't get 8 mpg more out of these trucks unless you were having them towed.

Avoid it. Have one. Drones between 1500-2000 rpm like there is no tomorrow. Replacing it when the snow melts.

Re: Crappy brakes
My brakes felt really bad the day I picked them up from the dealer (in 2015). I have never had any specific maintenance on them, but they improved dramatically in the first year. Still don't know the reason why they improved. Maybe a TSB of which I was unaware?

Re: AEV Dorkel Pre-Filter, who has one? Functioning?
Well, from personal experience, it ain't going to do anything at normal operating RPM while in dusty conditions, and I drive in that situation every day. But hey if it makes you feel better to have it on, knock your socks off. Post back up when you have it installed and running your engine at 1500-...

AEV snorkel with air-ram or prefilter height
For you guys that have one... how much higher is the top of the air-ram/prefilter than the top of the cab (excluding the running lights). Please specify which one you have. Thanks,

Re: antenna mounts for rambox?
More posting! So I bought a 2m / 70cm radio and looking at the antenna mounts, rambox is coming up short! So how are you guys mounting your antennas with rambox? I was thinking of drilling the back bumper but I dont want it hitting and scratching up the paint/tailights. Then I though about mounting...

Re: AEV Dorkel Pre-Filter, who has one? Functioning?
You might check out the Donaldson Top Spin instead of the Sy-Klone.
It appears to cover a greater CFM range for the 5" model.

Re: AEV Dorkel Pre-Filter, who has one? Functioning?
Based on the physics involved, I'd still go with the 9005 based on it's listed, and I assume tested, stats. The Sy-Clone website specifically says "Always select model based on engine airflow requirement, then use adaptation for any difference in diameter." The 9001R would result in an effective RPM...

Re: Unsolicited Advice on Tires
The most bad ass off road tires I ever had were Denman Ground Hawgs in 17/40-15 size back in the 80s. They were awesome off road in the mud. They rode surprisingly good on the highway. I was even surprised at how well they did in sand. You could, however, hear them coming from 2 miles down the road,...

Re: AEV Dorkel Pre-Filter, who has one? Functioning?
9005 is too big for both the Cummins and of course the 6.4 It looks like it is the correct one if you use a CFM calculator. https://www.widman.biz/English/Calculators/CFM.html Using 5600 rpm as max rpm (The 2016 PW is rated at 410hp at 5600), and 0.8 efficiency (which is typical for a naturally asp...

Re: AEV Dorkel Pre-Filter, who has one? Functioning?
It is a Sy-Klone model 9005. According to the tech I spoke with at Sy-Klone, that is the size they recommend for a D6 dozer. AEV support was shit, supposedly their engineering dept. says that is the correct size for both the 6.4 and Cummins. BULLSHIT. I'm pissed, and wanted to confirm with others t...

Re: Cooper or Maxxis?
I’ll agree with pretty much all of jacks observations on 13.5’s but I intentionally run 13.5’s on a less than 10 inch wide wheel because I want the squish. TankerZak you have plenty of shock! No issue there at all. Not sure what valving you have, or how you drive and use your truck, but if you like...

Re: Cooper or Maxxis?
I'm still on stock shocks through all 3 sets of tires. I like trying things "outside the box" occasionally to see what I can do with them. I went to the STTs within the 1st month they were released with the new tread pattern. It took me a few tries with various configurations, but I eventually found...
