Re: BUILD THREAD COMMENTS

Becuase the build threads have turned into a shit show. The end goal is to eventually remove all the comments from builds, so they are just build threads. Not discussions. Not a fan of this. Maybe just some guidance to keep discussion on topic? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk NO, end of debate. ...

Re: adeluca73's Build - 2014 2014 POWER WAGON SLT FLAME RED TWO TONE

Highly recommend a helper to run the floor jack and hand you tools. I did everything but the rear track bar solo in a single day and I was smoked. With one or two assistants it should be an easy Saturday project or two very easy days if you split it up front/rear.

You may find this shocking, but Ram routinely has mistakes on their website, including the build&price tool.

Re: WTB: 2017-2018 PW wheel hub caps

Have you tried the dealer? If the center cap is common across their black wheels (thinking of the blacked out Cummins models, which seem to be pretty popular) they might actually be pretty cheap. I needed to replace a corner bed cap for my RamBox and expected to get raked over the coals for it. Deal...

Re: 18 PowerWagon Newbee

I love the truck overall but the transmission will not hold the truck at a slow pace on switchbacks without a heavy dose of braking. Wondering if anyone has geared down or if there might be another alternative. Low gear lets the truck accelerate to 25mph before kicking down to approximately 18mph b...

Guys that have had vibration/noise complaints, what kind of rod ends did you use? The cheap ones without liners, steel ball on steel rod end? Or did you pay up for ball joints with Teflon liners?

We do, from the "Unread posts" search page. It's a little link on the right side of the page, above all the search results.

Re: 37x12.5 on AEV Saltas – metal trimming or liner only (2018)?

Good looking truck jameswyatt.i know this has most likely been answered and or bet to death, but how much more offset do the aev rim have than stock . Thanks I've seen conflicting numbers, but I think the current PW rims are +44, or thereabouts. The AEV Ram wheels are +27. So about 17mm less offset...

Re: New truck ordered 2018

There is build, then it goes to another building where things like the bedliner is installed (not sure what else) and then it waits for a train. Then it spends a few days or a week+ on the train to get unloaded and transfer to the next train in a week or two, then they unload it a few days after th...

Re: PW Axle n Suspension Swap Question (& Locker Wiring)

To add the axles, the wiring is very easy. Just need 12V hot and ground wires, and switches in the cab. The other two wires in the plug are for the sensing required by the smart bar. A little searching on this forum will show you the pin outs in the plugs. If you want to move the smart bar over, jus...

Re: GPS

Most of my state is zero service. I was pumped when the iphone got the update that lets Bluetooth stay on in airplane mode. I use the Gaia app as a GPS, and Bluetooth pair my phone to my Delorme InReach (Garmin owns InReach now) so I can satellite message from the phone. Much easier to use the touch...

Re: GPS

I've been using a Garmin 610T. I've been in places that there is no cell coverage. So anything on my cell phone won't work. Gaia app works without cell service. Just like a handheld GPS, you have to have the maps downloaded before you leave WiFi (or cell service). Pop your phone into airplane mode ...
