2020 Power Wagon - Spied

The TRX and the Rumored 7.0L are going to be interesting to watch. My biggest complaint on my 2012 is the total lack of a passing gear. When on a two lane highway approaching 65mph and wanting to pass a slower vehicle it would be nice to have more power. I know these trucks are basically a big bric...

Re: 2018 PW Front Bumper

To heck with front park sensors. I reverse park almost everywhere I go anyway. My rear park sensors have been dead for a while, I never rely on them so I doubt I'll ever try too hard to get them fixed. Back-up camera is the bees knees, 3G owners get your salt ready to throw.

Alaska Earthquake

I lost a whitetail deer mount and my grandpa’s 30” drafting T-square. Everything else can be replaced easily, not enough damage to meet my renter’s insurance deductible.

.... and sleep. Lost a whole lot of sleep.

They don’t last long if you beat on them. Work ok for Road Wagons.

‘If I ever roll off the road on an iced over closed backroad’.... if you own a Tacoma that’s actually a very plausible and common scenario. If I had to guess who’s on a closed road in the backcountry, good odds it’s a Toyota driver. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk That's not likely for Travis Ha...

Thuren bumper. Not sure if it’s “Ranch Hand” enough for a Texan, though.

Nothing says “I like to keep it simple” like carrying breaching tools in your truck, but not shit paper.

Got these put on last night and they are way grippy. Hankook Dynapro MT 35x12.50r17, studded and machine siped on the center lugs. I can’t wait to see how these do off-road in the snow. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181127/4540c83b28043db565ae452ea03aaaff.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2...

Dang, nice truck!!! That pic of the driver side... how come the radius arm mount on the frame looks so low? Someone knelt down low and snapped that pic... I dono. They dont hang down that low, no matter how low you are looking from. Zoom in on the passenger side pic. I can see two bolts, and it loo...

All valid points to be aware of. There's about 100 of these out in the wild from previous builders, I wonder if anyone with an original unit has ever experienced accidental engagement? The easiest way to overcome this fear is to just pull the fuse if you know that you're not going to be using it, o...

And I’m “ain’t skeered” about losing a bead. First time I’ve done it on this truck, but that’s why I carry full tire repair tools on the trail. Reseated it and drove it the rest of the way off the trail. Had to put the spare on when I got back to the highway. Was getting out of balance from the ~gal...

Wheel turned to the right, trying to climb the ice shelf, sliding along and ramming into the end of the shelf. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk How low was your tire pressure? There's always a trade-off between traction and keeping the bead seated :D 20 psi Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have some cracks in the walls, a countertop separated from the backsplash that will need to get shimmed and recaulked. The garage man-door dead bolt is damaged so I can’t even open it to see if the door still opens and closes. I rent, so not my house, not my problem. The well water ran murky for a...

Hope there is no more aftershocks or worse. Thousands of aftershocks so far. Hundreds over 2.5, which is strong enough to feel. Seems like the worst is over and the aftershocks are slowing down in frequency and magnitude. Anchorage is mostly done with their damage assessment, port is operational an...

These trucks are going to sell like hotcakes. I don't think it's a vehicle for me, but I really like it. They basically took the AEV Brute and made it affordable and with a full FCA backed warranty. Just like the LJ, Jeep fucked up the departure angle. Theres really only one way to fix that. Shorte...

Wow that is interesting. That is called a Wax Motor. They are used heavily in industry in HVAC and are considered extremely reliable in that setting. Maybe a big part of why they fail is that the coolant has so much more energy flowing past the wax that the heating element really has to dump heat i...
