finally got time to install the blm bypass yesterday. top notch kit that works great . best thing is you dont have to wait and wonder if or when it will lock. blm system locks right away Folks who think the lockers lock immediately when bypassed or hard wired don’t understand how our e-lockers work...

Re: 06 PW Winch

Greetings all. New to this forum. I recently purchased an 06 Power Wagon. First Dodge I've owned in many years. I bought it to use as a good puller to tow our RV trailer. I was tired of trying to make my 15 Sierra 1500 do something it's just not going to do comfortably. So the PW is an additional t...

Should I?

If you want to test the lockers you have to be in 4 low and moving VERY slowly. Like 2-3 mph, but you have to be moving. Also have to be in 4 low for the sway bar, but not so terribly slow. At least that how it works for Gen4 trucks. 4HI or 4LO for the sway bar. Sometimes have rock the truck side t...

Again. Cannot thank you all enough. Final question. I will not need spacers for the airbags, correct? There is enough bag for the power wagon lift, right? Thanks so much LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate plus Daystar cradle is a proven solution on Power Wagons, over and over and over again. The problem with...

Re: Rear Springs tuftruck ttc-1225

Those look like 1500 springs. I'd return those and get Airlift Airbags 5000 and Daystar Cradles. That way you keep your flex and can airup to tow. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk The springs the OP bought are for 2500, and are designed to be STIFFER than regular 2500 springs (but the product p...

Re: Rear Springs tuftruck ttc-1225

Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate airbags (88289) and Daystar airbag cradles that won’t negatively affect ride quality or suspension range of motion.

Or 1.5” spacers on heavy springs that will ride like a dump truck when unloaded.

I know which one I’d pick.

It's one of 5 new unsold smart bars in the country.
This caught my attention. Would you elaborate?
Low volume parts for 11 year old trucks get obsoleted and existing stock gets used up.

Re: Bouncing Problemos

I am installing my Thuren 2.5 setup this weekend, assuming weather cooperates. I ended up going keeping the OE PW rear springs, and going with the Thuren +1/2" springs up front... so CG shouldn't take much of a hit and didn't make spring rates worse in the rear. Hoping that between more aggressive ...

The thing about the rocks is that it's literally an aluminum can. It doesn't take much. Caveat emptor with DOR. Some of their parts are skookum, but stray cats and monkeys must be running the office.

Re: Aluminum Driveshaft failures?

Yes, they do get destroyed. My local driveline shop told me that the shaft length on my 2015 was too long for steel, there would be balancing/vibration problems at high speed. Given that I intend to regear to 5.13 at some point in the future (even higher driveshaft RPMs), and drive at highway speed...

Good deal! Man I should just buy one of these damn things for a spare once and for all already lol! Where abouts in Michigan? The aluminum wheels don’t mount using the stock spare winch. Shock mounts are weak BUT if all the geometry is correct should never break because they should never see downward force. The shock should stop before that. The bumpstop stops the downward force before force is applied to the shock mount. In the up swing the shock mount would see some light extendi...

Re: Torq's Build - 2017 RAM Power Wagon (Nickname Undecided)

It's a tight fit between any 17" wheel and the brake calipers. Your shop should be using the thin stick on weight and being careful about where they put them. If those Nittos need a lot of weight to balance, you might have issues. My tape weights routinely get scrubbed off when offroading and mud/gr...
