For sale: 4th Gen floor mats (new)
I'm selling the OEM floor mats that came with my 2017 PW. They are pretty heavy duty and were immediately removed when I bought the truck. Asking $75 (OBO) for all three plus shipping (USPS).

Re: Calvinm119's 2017 Power Wagon Build
Timgco,
Its clamped on. I just took a reciprocating saw and cut off the resonator right before the rear axle. I didnt want to weld anything because of its proximity to the rear axle and the lack of space.

Re: Omaha Orange Power Wagon
XPLSV, I hate to say that Ram Customer Service is stupid, but they are. They are still making a Tradesman Version of the PW. You have to order a Tradesman and then opt for the PW package. Additionally, I have seen a few new Laramie PWs on lots. You can even build and price the Tradesman with t...

Re: Calvinm119's 2017 Power Wagon Build
True!!!! :D I want to keep the outside of this one lucking as close to stock as possible. Maybe a leer bed cap or toolbox on the outside, but thats it. However, I plan to modify everything I can inconspicuously. :D Like a front camera and when I pay this thing off, maybe one of these :D  htt...

Re: Antifreeze like smell through hvac system
My 2015 Ram smelled like coolant/antifreeze. We had the coolant system serviced and the freon in the A/C replace and nothing worked. They claimed that there were no leaks in the system. Like Waldo said, its probably coming from the the tank when the gasses vent into the atmosphere. Luckily, my 2017 ...

Re: Chevy ZR2 with Duramax and Front/Rear Lockers
 $45,000?!?! That's almost $6000 more than what I paid for my brand new PW! :wtf: . Honestly, like others have said, it seems each of the big three are making their mark in the on the off road truck market: the PW being an HD truck, Raptor-1/2 ton, and the ZR2- midsize. For whatever reason, t...

Re: F-250 Destruction
So much for tread lightly. I was thinking that. I don't care about the body damage to Dingus' Ferd, but it was painful to watch him tearing up the landscape. I'm not exactly a tree hugger, but I don't think people should have free license to f*** up whatever they want on public land. Sent from my i...

To be fair....I never said 4th/5th gens didn't need modifications lol. Hell, if my 2006 didn't crap out, I would still have it. But I had to get rid of that ugly resonator

Re: Calvinm119's 2017 Power Wagon Build
So... its been a bit, but these are the next two mods. I removed the resonator and installed a RBP exhaust tip and added a Dodge Off Road Steering Box Brace. So when I installed the Flowmaster Muffler, I tested its sound without the resonator attached and I really like the sound. It had a nice low, ...

Calvinm119's 2017 Power Wagon Build
 2017 Ram 2500 Tradesman with the Power Wagon Package I picked this up a little over 2 weeks ago. Over 2 years ago, I traded my 2006 Power Wagon in after it began to have electrical problems; becoming dangerous and unpredictable when driving. I traded it for a 2015 Ram 2500 Tradesman. It wa...

Re: Air box mods
You can also use a 3 in hole saw to cut out an airway at the bottom of the airbox and run airduct hose from the hole to the to the front of the vehicle. You'll need to buy a few things to make it look cosmetically good. I did that on my last truck and it worked pretty good.

Back in the fold
Its been a while, but I'm back and boy does it feel good! While helping one of my co-workers try to find a new Ram HD truck, I stumbled across this beauty. While I wasn't in the market for a new truck, I couldn't pass on this opportunity to own a PW again. She's the same color as my old PW (Brillian...

Re: "Welcome Thread"
The ride is a night and day difference to be honest. Although the rear coil springs on the 2015 2500 were a lot softer than the 3G PW I had, but this new PW runs circles around a normal 2500. On the way to the dealership, the freeway roads were incredibly rough and in the 2500 you felt every bump. T...

Re: "Welcome Thread"
Well, it's been two and a half years of PW envy but I'm back. Picked up a 2017 Tradesman with the PW package yesterday. It feels so good to be back in a PW. Had a regular 2500 with a 6.4 and it just didn't cut it. Loving the ride, the look, and the feeling of knowing that I can go just about anywher...

Re: My new 2015 power wagon
I think everyone hit it on the head. The new PW is a great vehicle. I miss my 06 PW, but I have learned to love my '15. Does it have all of the cool things the PW has? No. But it is far more capable for what I need. Good luck

Re: My new 2015 power wagon
I had a 2006 PW and currently have a '15 2500 w/ the 6.4 and 3.73s. To me, it's no comparison. The 06 was great, but the power of the '15 is night and day. I drive like a grandma usually but when I put the pedal to the floor this thing is a like a monster, even with 3.73s. It took a tuner, ported th...

Hmmm.... Looks cool, not much too it. It's definitely a cool looking appearance package. I give Ram credit, at least they are trying. I don't think there will ever be a direct one for one competitor to the Raptor. It's just not really practice to spend $50,000 on a 1/2 ton truck that doesnt tow much...

Re: 2017 Raptor
Verdesardog, you aren't kidding. And sadly it's not just Ford. Look at the new Cherokee trail hawk. It's got like four different types of 4x4 traction control settings (mud, ice/snow, rock, sand). It takes the skill out of driving off road and to me it just complicates things.

Re: Ram had 3 diesel options for the Power Wagon, but they .
I absolutely LOVE the new 6.4. Like others here, I will never have the need for a diesel but I do like the extra low end grunt that the 6.4 provides. Plus ram will more than likely fine tune the 6.4 to provide even more (low end) torque in the future. As for the "stereotypical" diesel truck owners.....

Re: 2017 Raptor
R0NAN, I think part of the reason people buy Furds is because the company is great at advertising their product. Like you said, they do extremely well during their first year or so, but they don't handle abuse. Well....the new ones don't anyway. I've used a lot of '07 and earlier superdutys with bot...

Re: 2017 Raptor
Yeah.... The Raptor is neat looking, but that ecoBoost engine and the electonics really scare me and make me want to stay away. Plus it's a Ford :thppt: but that's beside the point. Had my PW not had issues, I would have kept it forever. Like what was stated earlier, a good winter/snow grocery gette...
