Re: 2015 PW won't start
Would it turn over? Or not even engage the starter? It was if the ignition switch was bad, which was not the case. I hadn't done the software update for the uconnect 8.4. I think that was the problem as the update included a fix for potential hacking by criminals that would allow them to start and ...

Re: 2015 PW won't start
Here's a follow-up. Dealership couldn'tfind the source of the non start problem. Most likely computer glitch. Had the software update done. Hoping that was all that was needed to fix the problem.

2015 PW won't start
Last week I stopped for gas, got back in my 2015 PW, inserted and turned the key and it wouldn't start. Removed the key tried again still nothing. I removed the key and tried the remote start function. Started right up, inserted the key and the engine died. I did that twice and then the remote start...

Re: Oil change DIY 1st time advice
Oil change complete. Thanks to all for the tips. 5 gallon bucket worked great for oil drain, no splash. Removing filter was the hardest part, but once I got my arm through to reach it with a cap style wrench it was smooth sailing.

So you don't need a wrench to loosen the filter?

Oil change DIY 1st time advice
I'm going to do the first oil/filter change on my '15 PW by myself. I have changed the oil/filter many times on my old '03 Ram 2500 and it was pretty easy. The '15 change looks pretty easy, except accessing the filter might be tight. Has anyone done an oil change themselves and can offer any tips? T...

Re: Rear Diff Skid Plate? Yes! Mission Accomplished!
Looks like it's been 3years since the prototype(?) was made and no info so I'm assuming this project is dead. Last night I took some cardboard and tried to mock up a glide plate. I found 2 attachment points for the rear section of the plate, but cant figure out a front attachment point. There is a l...

8 lug to 6 lug wheel adapters?
I have a set of wheels from my FJ Cruiser that would look great on my 2015 PW. Unfortunately they are 6 lug wheels. I did a search for adapters to fit the wheels to my PW's 8 lug set-up, but not surprisingly I couldn't find anything. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

I want to remove the graphics on my 2015 PW SLT. It looks pretty easy to do. I thought about taking it to a body shop, but I'm trying to save some money. I am just a little worried about damaging the paint. Can you give me any tips? Thanks Removed graphics (still have hood sides to do), removed fend...

Here's an update. I added these steps that I bought from Amazon 198.00 includes free shipping. Arrived 3 days after ordering. Installation took about 40 minutes. Was easy to do using existing holes. The instructions are crap, but it's pretty easy to figure out on your own. If you are looking for a s...

Re: Additional skid plates?
After taking my PW off road for the first time this past weekend, I realized the importance of front and rear diff protectors. I looked at the DT Profab and then found AEV's protector with a skid plate, unfortunately from their website it seems that they only do that one for the Jeep. Anyone else mi...
