Re: Bought a 2019 Chevy Colorado ZR2
Meh, I’m out of the closet too. ‘Cept mines an oil burner. We downsized again, no longer hauling a truck camper so we don’t need the full size ram. I debated buying a gladiator but the diesel won’t be out till next year and holy crap is it expensive. A loaded Powerwagon is cheaper. I was able...

My Truck bed boat lift was made from this stuff. Clever design, but the joints loosened up overtime with mild off-road use. Was a lot of maintenance.

A guy unfortunately did that to his diesel 2500 on Cummins forum. He quickly got roasted.

Re: Rear locker wiring
These pics hopefully are somewhat helpful, the locker wiring goes from the pumpkin to the forward side of the axle to the a clip on the spring perch then loops for some slack, then clips to the brake cable then up into the body harness. It would appear that I have a break in my harness sheath as wel...

I am on a 15. I had a death wobble issue that it cured, other than that didn’t tighten up the front end feel appreciably

Re: Another Death Wobble post
The movement was in the bushing, I'm surprised that the bushing is as soft as it is. So am I assuming 3/16 of movement in the bushing is considered normal? I realize it's not a poly bushing and some movement is acceptable but is the movement I mentioned within limits? Don didn't think so and I hope ...

Re: Another Death Wobble post
I had a 06 cummins with the front end worn out as well, never death wobbled once in 180k mi i put on it, as well as an 04 hemi 2500 that needed Ball Joints and no wobble. Currently I have one of the supposedly immune to DW 14+ trucks. I replaced the Damper and front coils with Thurens parts and had ...

Re: Another reason the Diesel PW may have never happened
This is assuming the GVWR stays the same at 8510, the diesel trucks have heavier GVWR rating. The GVWR of the PW has stayed the same since 05, but the truck got heavier in 10' and 14' so the allowable payload decreased. If Mopar wanted they could have re rated the GVWR on the PW over the years to ma...

Re: Steering Wheel Shake
Mine does it too, I have the same coils upfront. I actually had it DW on me so I finally had it aligned to Thuren's specs and while it is better , the shake is still there when the front end is unloaded going over a bump or an expansion joint almost like it wants to DW. I have 29000km(18000mi) I've ...

I question as to why they used the 2500 platform instead of the 3500 platform if it's supposed to be capable of putting a camper in its flatbed.
