Re: Do I need longer swaybar end links with 1" lift

I bought the standard ones years ago and learned my lesson. These look right to me and in the listing says for electronic disconnect. I paid $10 each now they are just over $11. I've recently purchased from Rock Auto and they were cheaper than anywhere else I could find. Just got Moog ball joints f...

Re: Bed Mounted Storage Boxes

Anyone have any experience with the TonneauMate? Made by Truxedo and designed to fit underneath their tonneau covers. Just picked up a Truxedo tonneau cover so I was looking into this: http://www.truxedo.com/tonneau_mate/land.php My original plan was to buy one of these, but after two plus months o...

Re: Tool Kit for new Power Wagon

A tire plugging kit, that is something else I need, and a better tire deflation tool, for airing down tires. Anyone try these? http://www.4wheelparts.com/prodDetail.aspx?partNo=S/B2723&catID=11&subCat=107&ptID=8395 http://www.4wheelparts.com/aux_incl/images.ashx?i=4WD_2723.jpg&partNo=S%2fB&w=450&h=...

Re: Power Steering Pump Whining

I do quite a bit of mudding so my idler pulley bearings usually go every 6 months or so. I bought the Duralast idler pulleys ($18 each) from Autozone with 1 yr warranty - since then Autozone foots the bill now everytime I replace. Thanks Autozone!

Glad to see you are actually using your power wagon! Mine has brush scratches all over it and everyone freaks out about it. I have to remind them that this truck is awesome and its meant to go wheeling.

Re: 06 fog lamp

Same thing happened to both fogs on my 06. I just ordered aftermarket replacement DEPO's from ebay, both for $85 shipped. They are not hellas but you can't tell. I have used DEPO products on other vehicles and I think they make some decent stuff.

Motul 600 is a little unnecessary... the only reason people may need it is because it has a higher boiling point over oem fluid. It really is only for racing applications where brakes see excessive temperatures.

Re: Sway bar parts numbers

Glad to here everything went well. Your truck is so clean compared to mine lol.
So the axle mount hole needs to be drilled out? I wonder why? Is that just the way they make them for 3rd gens?

Did you get that Borgeson box in yet?

Re: Sway bar parts numbers

Gotcha. My truck has a lot of center point play as well, it was like that when I bought the truck back in March so I thought it was supposed to be like that. Or I thought maybe I needed to upgrade to the DOR heavy duty steering kit. Definitely keep me in the loop because if you see a significant imp...

Awesome! I've been looking at the Borgeson stuff too. Keep me posted on how you like that and the end links. What symptoms do you have that point to you needing a new steering box?

Re: Sway bar parts numbers

I think value line is just an affordable part option that Chrysler does if they sell a frequent amount of that particular part. I bought 'value line' front rotors a few weeks ago for $60/piece. The initial ones were $120/piece. I asked the parts guy what the difference was (quality, materials, etc.)...

Re: Sway bar parts numbers

Well, stopped by the dealership yesterday. Apparently the V5175052AB part number is for a 'value line' end link and these parts are currently not available. The guy proceeded to look up the non-value line ones and he came back with that $230 per link price (same dead end road that dodgeman found). E...

Re: Sway bar parts numbers

Sorry if I led you astray Dodgeman, I never ordered anything from that site yet but it seemed legit. I did find some on a Mopar parts finder for a dealership near my house. Says they are $73.60 per link kit. I am going to call them today and see if this is for real. If they are, I can order some ext...

Re: Washer Fluid Sensor Heads Up

I used to have a 2013 1500 and I had this same problem. My buddy had the same problem with his 2014 charger. The sensor that Chrysler uses in many of their newer vehicles has two electrodes that passes a small current through the fluid. When the fluid gets below the sensor, the current does not trav...
