Re: Gen4 locker bypass install

I spoke with Shelby today and it sounds like the 2nd extension harness didn't get shipped. He'll get you taken care of. And I don't see that I've gotten any emails from you. If you're emailing lockerbypass@outlook.com, that email address was also turned over to Shelby. I just realized that I never ...

**Important Announcement**

Just wanted to make that formal announcement that I will no longer be producing locker kits. I have really enjoyed designing and building these kits but with the day job, wife, kiddo, and 2nd kiddo on the way, there's just no time left. I truly appreciate all that you guys have done for me on this f...

Re: Just checking in, I'm still alive!

And, I ordered up a new car for her this week as well, a 15 Charger R/T Road and Track to replace her 14 Grand Cherokee. I'm excited to have something a little more fun to play with than the Jeep. Not to mention two car seats fit a lot better in the Charger than they do the Jeep. After owning the Je...

Just checking in, I'm still alive!

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been around much lately and have had zero locker kit production. We found out my wife is pregnant again a few weeks ago and this kid is not being very nice to her! So, she's pretty much been out of commission lately leaving me to handle most everything around the house, whi...

Re: Exhaust help

Extending it out past the axle will be a huge help. I went through a few exhaust systems on my power wagon before I got it right. First was a Magnaflow 14 dumped after the axle. Ran this for a while but grew tired of the loudness, but drone was tolerable. Next was a Magnaflow 22 (or maybe 24, don't ...

Re: The official Locker List

I got some more harnesses made last week, just need to build the boxes. However, I'm stuck in jury duty this week so I'll be stuck working through the night staying caught up on the day job.

Re: Anybody ditched their smartbar and hardwired their locke

Resistor mod, not diode, but as mentioned it's not worth the effort. Still relies on the smartbar which is the bottleneck in the system.

I thought at first you weren't converting Euro to USD, but I just checked the Euro conversion and it's dropped a lot since I bought my kit.

Re: How to hardwire lockers on new gen trucks?

Morgan, I know you were not able to get the sense circuits wired through to your by-pass, and now the 14/15's have added an additional output to the rear locker connector. 1. Why do you think Ram added an additonal status pin--is it for some over heat, over torque, etc that by installing the by-pas...

Here's what I have currently. Again, if you think there is an error, please let me know. Also, please don't confuse this list with the one I did when I started this endeavor. Re: How to hardwire lockers on new gen trucks?

No, the front is a 4 pin connector. All of the trucks up to 2013 have the same 4 pin connector at both axles. In 2014 when they switched to the 11.5 AAM axle, they changed the rear to a 6 pin and added an extra sense return for whatever reason. The pin numbers are on the connectors though. On the 4 ...

Re: Adding a front camera and sensors

Take a look at Customtronix. They are a Sweden company that offer a software solution to the 8.4A(N) systems with an avaiable harness if you want to add cameras. Everything is done on the screen so there's no push this button 9 times type of deal to activate cameras. I have the Bronze package which ...

Re: How to hardwire lockers on new gen trucks?

Here's the wiring info. Not sure why they list two wires on pin 1 and two wires on pin 6 on the rear connector. And you don't have to cut the wires, I have connectors available if you really want to hard wire yourself, even if temporary. These connectors aren't that expensive. I can send you front a...

If you turn the knob and they don't lock, the system is working as designed. LOL, low blow, sorry.

Re: How to hardwire lockers on new gen trucks?

Thanks Morgan. If I'm 16 and your cranking out 3-4 a week. Then I might get it before bear season starts in April when I will 100% need my lockers. I'm just wondering more for a short term solution until I can get the bypass done up or if I can't get it before bear season. Awesome if it's 2 wire se...

Re: How to hardwire lockers on new gen trucks?

It's a two wire hook up per axle, just 12V and ground to the locker solenoid. They need to go through relays though and need at least 16 gauge wire. You are #16 on my list. Trying to get 3-4 out per week. so you're hopefully coming up before too terribly long...
