Looking good, twin.

Off topic, but out of curiosity, did you give photobucket some money or what?

Re: Pennzoil Ultra Platinum rebate (for guys with the 6.4l)

So...about 5k on the engine (hate people calling it a motor), about half a quart low and looking at using one of the dealership free oil changes I got with purchase. Only two oils meet the spec I keep seeing but I have lifter tick on some startups. I have older vehicles (scouts, IH) that I use dies...

Please follow up when you do the more accurate calculation. I think my measurements are within 1/4 (mostly because i cant touch the internal jounce and see how much give it has) of an inch but would love a second opinion. Actually 3rd opinion as DamageWagon helped on the install. And by help i mean...

I'll give that a shot thanks It is still quite new to me, so I almost dislike it. I have to put in more time to figure out how everything works. But at least the pikchurz show up on a forum again  if you had just posted photos from IMGUR in the Airlift 5000 thread I can't see them on my work ...

Re: Airlifter 5000 Ultimate airbags w/ Daystar cradles '14+

Far from scientific, but judging by these two photos, the air bags with spacers definitely hinder rear articulation... Obviously, the pic with snow on the ground is the one with bags/spacers (grass pic was with no bags). The passenger side rear tire was off the ground, so I would have to imagine the...

Re: The Future of Ram- 2019 Spy Shots

I'm not digging it either, really is a lazy design aesthetic. All they've done is retool the front fascia of the truck. There are no other major design changes outside the rear bumper and those tail lights. Very disappointing. Also the retooling makes the truck feel like a smaller midsize. Am I the...

Re: The Future of Ram- 2019 Spy Shots

Looks good from what I have seen. I like the look of the fourth gen's, and it looks a lot like them, just a little refreshed. In ten+- years they will be redesigning them again and everyone will be saying how nice the 5th gens looked and how the new 6th gens look like crap. It seems that is how it a...

Yep, although its not cheap, I have been using amsoil too.

Quieted down the obnoxiously loud ticking noise that the motor made straight off the showroom floor.

I always liked my Toyo's but these look so close in design and are 9 lbs +/- lighter each which should be a huge advantage, AND they were $50 cheaper each tire compared to TOYO
Makes ya wonder if less weight translates into less strength...

Re: Thoughts ? 2008 QC G-56

Oooof, yeah with such a new vehicle you guys could very well get burned a little trying to off it already. Your still kinda in that “just drove it off the lot” territory, when the vehicle immediately depreciates thousands of dollars as soon as you signs the papers. Probably wouldnt be a bunch, but m...

Re: Why has AEV turned to such shit?

If you want a true performance suspension you need to find that through other vendors Carli, Thuren, Pure Performance, etc. At least to me it seems fairly straight forward not quite sure what all the controversy is about. Exactly. That is exactly how I feel about it. AEV has absolutely outdone any ...

You do not have less uptravel with your setup... unless you added taller bump-stops. Thurens springs handle the factory ...

Oh, and that stock'ish steering gear is the same 20k mile service life junk that came on the trucks OE. Stockish steering gear? They dont even touch that, do they? Why even get his coils for the rear man? Do the front, tell Don and keep the factory rears. Still works with the Kings, pretty much my setup. The only thing I can think is if they are indeed a little softer, maybe they ride a little better and function a little better (for empty DDing and unloaded ...

Re: Why has AEV turned to such shit?

That kit is designed for regular 2500 and 3500. Not the PW pre say. The PW is an afterthought because the parts fit. Exactly. Kinda. I honestly think AEV thinks regular 2500 springs are better, that is why they recommend using the other springs. Maybe if you tow heavily or have a diesel... Otherwis...
