Re: 2020 Power Wagon - Spied

Poor holding power isn’t to due with ABS, more to do with the torque converter wanting to pull you along. I do a lot of my slow downhill driving in neutral. If you REALLY want to have fun, someone else let me know when you find that seldom-activated engine shutdown feature that kicks in when you’re...

I still want a 4:1 transfer case or a better crawl ratio. I can barely hold my truck anymore in 1st gear low. Pretty disappointing.
Hold your truck? What are you referring to? I would think adding a lower gear in the case would make that even worse, but not exactly sure what you mean there.

Re: 2020 Power Wagon - Spied

The TRX and the Rumored 7.0L are going to be interesting to watch. My biggest complaint on my 2012 is the total lack of a passing gear. When on a two lane highway approaching 65mph and wanting to pass a slower vehicle it would be nice to have more power. I know these trucks are basically a big bric...

Re: The Gladiator returns...

Between that and the new 2020 spy shots, I guess I'll just go back to dreaming about doing 40's or something crazy to my truck like 4:1 t case. Meh, a measly 2 speed 4:1 tcase? If your dreaming, why not get a custom 4 speed https://www.advanceadapters.com/products/atlas-4-speed-transfer-case-builde...

Re: Locker Bypass Rebirth

I have one of the very first bypasses. Just pissing around with it. I locked my rear axle down go the highway at 70 mph just to see if it would lock, and unlock. It will without much drama. Making a turn with it locked. The PW wanted to push the front to the outside of the turn. But it will turn. W...

Joke all you want. I think its a good idea. Seriously. David, you say simply wire in a switch on the ground... can you do this on mine (without much extra trouble) while you are making it? Or is that something that I would have to add in when I get it. I honestly want it like that. Thats the way I h...

Re: Locker Bypass Rebirth

Yeah, this should probably be called a “SmartBar Locker Bypass”. So yes, it bypasses the brains in the SmartBar and gives you direct control of the lockers. It’s basically plug and play hardwired lockers using the O.E. dash knob, and yes it makes it instant on and off in any transfer case range. No...

Re: Locker Bypass Rebirth

Quick few questions on these units... So this setup essentially bypasses the brains in the smart bar, correct? Using this setup should essentially make it much quicker for the lockers to lock/unlock, correct? When in 4-low with this setup, it still by-passes all the brains in the smartbar, correct? ...

Re: Bouncing Problemos

I think regular 2500 springs are a poor compromise. They are stiffer but the geometry is still poor, a wider spring base will have a far greater effect than a small spring rate increase. Air bags are going to do a lot more, even if they are at a low pressure, just by providing a much wider base for...

Re: Bouncing Problemos

You should try something like installing regular ram rear coils with a spacer to get it back to level, regular ram rear sway bar, and thurens rear track bar. I think that would help a ton for your intended use. Would you loose some rear articulation, well of course, but you gotta loose some to win s...

I wonder what the added dinglebarry is on the roof between the cab lights is.

Also, there is an added protrusion under the drivers mirror. 360 degree camera maybe?
