Re: Thuren Overland Suspension Compared to Stock Suspension

I am think that Dons advertised numbers are compared to a normal ram 2500, which the power wagon is certainly already better than. No? I take that back. I see he changes his numbers on his site; for a normal 2500 he says 20% front and 30% rear, and for the pw he says 10% front and 20% rear. Regardl...

I guess I'd be fine with either, but will go with WK. the biggest obstacle now is convincing the wife that I need a $1000 mod on my truck. Some mods are easy to hide, but not this one haha.
Where you gonna find a set for $1000?! LOL

Re: Sliders

I went with wk sliders. Drilling all those holes in the body to mount the aluminess ones scared the hell out of me. The rockers would be swiss cheese in no time around here with all the road salt in the winter. The aluminess offer a lot more ground clearance per se, but really the wk ones dont hang ...

Re: Diablosport tuner

Has anyone noticed less/complete reduction in part throttle surging after installation? I've ruled out the standard culprits and am wondering if my part throttle surging is due to the free-er flowing exhaust i've had on the truck. My truck still has it at 25k miles. Pretty much always has. I still ...

Yea I dono, I honestly dont really care for the overall look. Some angles look good, and others just look effed up. To me anyway. To each their own. Its certainly way more functional than the stocker!!!

In a couple years 8 speed swaps into older trucks will be a thing I’m sure
I would do it to mine in a heartbeat. Its about the only thing I REALLY dislike about my truck.

16PW - are you in a snow belt? I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on the KM3 if you are. FordyceCreekTrail has a set that he uses in the snow. He was bragging them up not long ago, but other than that I havnt heard much chatter about them from him... While I would expect them to be a bit be...

Re: 37's Not Balancing

Thanks for the input guys. I went to Discount this afternoon and had them order me up some BFG KM3's. I've been hearing that coopers are a hit or miss as far as having issues with them so I didnt feel like taking that chance again. Plus I'm only having to pay an additional $160 for the KM3's when n...

Re: 2012 New to Me!

I got a box of Thuren Overland Shocks today. Took off the factory Bilstein and replaced them with the Overlands. The driver side front is a pain in the butt to get in and out. I also got the shock boots, but they don't seem to attach that well, so I may cut them off. I took the truck for a test dri...
