Re: Steering issue

What cause the axle to be offset? The track bar isn't adjustable so I assume it was all alignment. Wonky caster and preloaded rubber joints? Yannow..... they didn't actually mention that and I forgot to ask. In my layman's eyes, it DOES seem like it's centered more now than it was when I dropped it...

Hahaha.

The thought of being able to use heavy duty products like this for the rest of my life and then being able to pass it down to my kids to do the same thing is just very intriguing to me.

Also could be road salt from following behind vehicles when the roads are really wet and salty
That was honestly my first thought but then again, I live in Southern California so it seemed like an unlikely thing :)

Re: Adventure Tool Company

I just picked up one of their atlas map cases, very high quality and great people to do business with. A bonus I wasn’t expecting is the canvas smells just like army surplus stores used to smell back before they started stocking the shelves with Chinese knock off crap Hahaha. I was pondering gettin...

Anyone that's been around the internet long should already know a question asking for an opinion is just a request for validation. Any advice given counter to the validation will either be ignored or argued with.
This is so very true. Well said.

Re: Possible coolant leak?

Also could be road salt from following behind vehicles when the roads are really wet and salty. A great way to get all the metal stuff in the engine compartment nice and rusty if left like that for a while. Soak the entire engine compartment and hood down with simple green, let it soak for a bit and...

Adventure Tool Company

I just came across this company the other day and thought I would share. Really great looking products, all made right here in America (Colorado) using American products.

Yes, the light is caused simply by the steering wheel being not straight up and down. I remember the jk’s being very susceptible to this also.

Re: New forest partol truks

My upper ball joints have been wobbling since the first tire rotation (actually, probably earlier than that).

Regardless. Yes. All vehicles, all brands, all models have their issues. The power wagon isnt secluded.

Yea i would run it with just your new suspension setup and see. Then IF that didnt work out well enough, adding bags are easy enough (except they take up the same realestate as those boogies!).

Im about 1200 miles away from my truck. Otherwise I would bounce out into the garage and help ya out.

I think you are damn close though. I cant remember what size hardware my WK sliders used.

Re: 2012 New to Me!

Forgot to mention, I installed my DodgeOffroad steering brace this afternoon. It was not to bad given my relative novice mechanical abilities. I really enjoy working on this truck, and I look forward to getting better at it. My steering was pretty good to begin with, but this made it feel just like...

The Nanny stuff though, I think that's a personal taste thing. It's like the need for a locker bypass. No one is going to accuse me of not wheeling my truck, and I still am not bothered by not having a locker bypass or have Nannies bothered me while doing crazy stuff yet. And I've tried. Well, if y...

Other than toting it around in the bed or on one of those rear gate/roof carriers, there really is no other option.

Maybe against the grill like back in the day lol.

Look good, but the price hurts. Not much more you can have a set of Hutchinsons. And still only 8” wide, wtf? Most tire manufacturers dont even recommend their 12.5” wide tire for anything less than 8.5”.

Re: Buffalo auto show.......

Yep! 9" shorter, better view over the hood. No stupid long radius arm front suspension. No nannies. :secret: You must not use the back seat for passengers, or like nice riding pickups. Pull the fuse and the nanies disappear. Win win win in my book. I have a unicorn in the PW's. RC/LB. No back seat....
