Re: Performance out of the 10-13 5.7 hemi?

My trucks at the dealer having five recalls done and they gave me 2019 1500 loaner. The 8 speed transmission is such an improvement. This thing is rocket. The 8 speed transmission is the ticket. The older rams need 5.x diff gearing. Hell the newer 66/68RFE's too. Yep I have a ‘17 half ton, and the ...

Re: New PW getting White Knuckle Rock Rails tomorrow

They are fairly tedious thats for sure. But nothing too crazy difficult. I did them by myself laying on the garage floor. Having the truck up on a hoist and the sliders supported by two tall jack stands might be the whip, cause you spend a lot of time trying to finagle bolts and fingers into tight s...

Re: Airlifter 5000 Ultimate airbags w/ Daystar cradles '14+

I get it... the cradle is more to keep the bag from wanting to kick out to the side during compression, yet still allowing the bag to disconnect during full droop.

Hey thats my first brain fart of the day, not bad!

Re: Airlifter 5000 Ultimate airbags w/ Daystar cradles '14+

What size drill bit and tap do I need for the cradle install? That depends on what size bolt you use :D What ever came about of the idea of mounting the cradle to the bottom of the bag instead of the axle? Isn't there a threaded insert at the base of the bag that could be utilized for mounting the ...

Re: Boogie wagon take 2

Not really the updates I was looking for fellers  Is there a PS pump available that would take out that dead spot when you make quick inputs? It feels like turning the wheel too fast for the steering to keep up. I only feel it when I'm backing up a trailer and making quick corrections. I know e...

As long as your truck isnt leveled, it should be close. Probably a little low out back.
It's closer to level than stock, I have Thuren 1.5" coils up front but there is still a slight rake, maybe 3/4" higher in the rear.
Yea, it will definitely be sagging ass then.

I have never even sat in the passenger seat of the truck lol. I am pretty sure that sticker was already removed when we took delivery of the truck but who knows. I'll install the bags and see how it goes. Thanks for the reply! Well, to correct myself it may not have been an actual sticker. Cant rea...

Re: Airlifter 5000 Ultimate airbags w/ Daystar cradles '14+

Yea I took the spacer out per Tankerzak’s recommendation and everything still works great. And I gained back the inch of compression, which was a noticeable loss. Abnormal wear? Pffffff, guess I would have to look them over because I never really have. I will say, the trip up to the UP and back las...

Re: Airlifter 5000 Ultimate airbags w/ Daystar cradles '14+

I am looking to add a Four Wheel Camper Hawk to the bed of my truck for an upcoming trip. It weighs right at 1000lbs. Has anyone run that kind of payload with the factory rear suspension setup and if so how badly did it sag? I am wondering if I should bother with the Airlift bag setup for a payload...
