10 inches of sidewall is the ideal for a street driven off-roader I’ve found.
So your saying 42’s on 30’s isnt ideal?!

Re: 2019 Ram HD - WTF?

So while getting the oil changed today I saw a new 2019 HD Ram in the showroom (not a Power Wagon). With excitement I opened the door, slid the seat all the way back, climbed in and smashed my knee on the dash. As I checked to make sure the seat was all the way back (and cuss like a sailor) I looke...

Re: Apparently Toyo 37 MT are type 99 tires in bcm

Well, a mt can perform better that an at or even a strickly snow tire in certain snow conditions, mainly like deep snow/powder situations. But I dont care what anybody says... on most road travel situations i encounter, mt’s are hands down far worse that an at with siping. I would however like to tr...

Mine go on tomorrow for PWIM. Hoping I don’t regret the MT choice next winter... If you think they are gonna not slip and slide around on the main roads you will be in for a treat! Mine handled snow and ice just fine this winter. Yep, thats just it. Its all relative. All I know is a good a/t tired ...

Re: The Gladiator returns...

Looks like a reincarnation of the JT Scrambler. However, this is nowhere near the concept Gladiator that was shown a few years ago by FCA at various car shows. It was supposed to be Power Wagon-like with front and rear lockers, winch, 4 cyl diesel, and other stuff. I was on the Jeep site and none o...

Looking good! I think you’re going to like the red letters, I’ve been running them for years on a wrangler and they’re really well suited to dirt rock and sand. So looking forward to putting the X3's through the paces here in Moab in a couple of weeks. And we will be looking forward to the review, ...

Re: Antifreeze smell

Progress! I still consistently get a coolant smell, but i have scoured all around the thermostat housing and it is completley dry as a bone every time. Not a single stain or anything. Like it is brand new. The thermostats obviously have an issue, but I am pretty sure my coolant odor is coming from s...

Go look at Reloaderguy's build thread. My truck is lame. And rusty now.
It would be nice to, except he never updates his build thread....
