Re: Overland Bed rack

Yakima is coming out with one in the spring that I have my eye on. I want to see it in person but it looks it might be a good option. Adjustable height and compatible with some tonneau covers. It is not as beefy as Nuthouse but it should be versatile.

This looks like a winner. Third brake light and fits Baja Designs S2 lights. Can't get the image to post for some reason. Re: 2012 PW

JBA claims these will fit with moving the heater lines. Am I falling for their marketing hype? Have to admit, I didn't research it too deeply yet.

Welcome to the site man, and congrats on the new rig!

Broken manifold bolts sound like an excuse for headers to me. ;)
Yup. Mine was fixed under warranty. If/when it goes again it is time for shorties!

You guys HAVE to come to Rausch Creek! ;)
I have been dying to since I joined the forum but it seems like I have something else that gets in the way every year. I'll get there one of these days even if I just drive over for the day and wheel with you guys.

Re: Lifted floor jack....

Been thinking about this for on the truck to use in the field. I really liked the concept of the Arb hydraulic jack but I am not paying almost a grand for one: https://safejacks.com/collections/bottle-jack-accessories/products/safe-jack-bottle-jack-recovery-kit-with-bottle-jack https://cdn.shopify.c...

Re: Another PW lifted with Blocks and Spacers

Dean I have a 2012 and am on 37s with no lift or leveling kit. I did do the Thuren control arms to move the front axle ahead as much as possible. I rub a tiny bit at the rear of the fender well with the 37s on the factory wheels. I think you should be fine on 35s. I would echo others and say skip th...

Re: Frustration...

I keep thinking a 2nd Gen with a P or VE pump is going to be my next one. I can spend a ton of money going through it and building it to suit me before I would hit the price tag on a new one that wouldn't be nearly as reliable.

I learned to drive on farm trucks with three on the tree. Fond memories. The old school farmers used to laugh at me because I had trouble with tractors that had hand clutches.

And did they get picked up and thrown in a dumpster after the photo op? I take a lot of air dams and bumper valences off the trails around here. Re: 2011 PW Tailgate pops open while driving??

Mine will do that if I don't slam it shut (2012). I can tell if it is fully latched or not by pulling on it after I close it. It is in the latch mechanism somewhere. I have not pulled it apart yet since I can still get it to latch. I guess I should before it gets worse.

Re: Tire Feedback

I’ve been really happy with my 35/12.5/17 Toyo RTs. 25k mi so far and they’re between 10/32 and 11/32 (for reference, new is 18/32). I came across a set of 5 brand new 37/12.5/17 RTs in the classifieds near me so I jumped on them. The height/width looks great, and I think they fill out the wheel we...
