Re: 6.4 sound on acceleration

Your factory muffler has a silly spring loaded flap in it. At idle it's closed and opens up as exhaust goes through it harder. It can whistle and tick. Change your muffler and it's gone away.

Re: 2017 Power Wagon

These people make up the majority of this planet. Mechanically inclined people are getting very rare. Most of us only know what media feeds us. I have a cousin that can't fix a lawn mower and he just bought his first truck. A Ford half ton 4x4. I asked why and all he could say was it's been the #1 s...

Re: Why I avoid secondary paved highway

Is it perhaps the compound of the seals? It can't handle the extreme temperature variations. What ever the sled manufacturers use may be the answer. Perhaps fox or oliens would give up some info.

Re: 2017 Power Wagon

It's kinda like yogurt. It's perfectly good cream but you let it sit around for days complaining it's stinks. Then you plug your nose and add some fruit. Stir it up and before you know it. Everyone loves it and just can't get enough!

Re: Opinions Wanted

Check your idler pulley. An alternator can also do this if the bearings are starting to fail. Check your throttle body bolts too. Highly unlikely but intake leaks can make strange noise as well. Good luck!

So I broke through some ice on a bush trail. No big deal. I have a power wagon. So I was playing arctic ice breaker and smashed through the hole. Haha! No winch needed! The one of my kids says "oh oh" look behind us. A trail of blood! I bent the transmission pan. Did some quick bush fixing to get ho...

Re: 2015 powerwagon POS

Somewhere in that truck the factory has pinched some wires during assembly. I've seen a Cummins cook engine ecms. Dealership wouldn't keep replacing them so my buddy got the chrysler rep to come out. Upon tearing the truck apart they found wires under the seat mount cut. Sloppy assembly at the facto...

Re: Large fuel tank.

Get an L shape auxiliary tank. You put a hose from the drain tied into the filler neck behind the gas cap. Use a ball valve to fill. It takes time but it works watch your gage and close the valve when your happy. If your camping your in no hurry anyway! A 12 volt fuel pump works also from the tank f...

Not funny. Trees can be vicious! I've been attacked a few times over the years. There's no pot of gold at the bottom of a tree well either. So don't bother looking.

Did you ask the dealer what they sell one rim for? They aren't normal rims. You may want more money for them.
